i dropped it really hard on the ground now only half the touch screen shows. The top screen is only hanging on by the cord but it still works.Wifi doesnt work anymore. Does anyone know how much it will be to fix?

i would think that it'd be almost cheaper/more convineint to buy a new one if you can afford it. If not then go to a gamestop, I thik they can fix some stuff like this, but don't quote me on this.

All in all, you should probably save up and buy a new one when you can. I honestly think that it would be cheaper in the end, and more asthetically pleasing as well.

my bro threw it to the ground

you know what you have to do now right? If not, then here it is:

tie his little self to a tree, take his saved money (if he has any or any valuable possesion and sell it). Then buy a new DS and play D/P in front of him the whole weekend. There is no greater torture for a Pokemon fan.

ok so you can still take something of his that's worth something and sell it. Just don't let him find out it's you who did it. It would help if you have other siblings.

if you buy them at best buy they have some sort of protection plan (< i think that's what it's called). a very good deal, that's why they are Best Buy.

I don't think that Best Buy will cover accidental damage. I thought they just cover normal usage. I don't think the "I was just playing with it and it fell apart into three parts" argument will work.

Though there is a smaller time limit, I think that it is generally 1 month, check your credit cards. I know some credit cards will cover lost/stolen/damaged merchandise.

he was asking if they buy a new one, best buy offers protection plans

I was just stating that Best Buy's protection plans are merely extened waranties covering only issues brought be normal use. They do not offer an insurance type program that will cover it being broken by the consumer, whereas some credit card companies will cover (for a limited time) lost/stolen/damaged items.

Meh, if my siblings ever did that they would be in for a world of pain -_- just " Obtain " all of his games and go sell them to gamestop ebay in order to get a new one...
