Can Glaceon Work

I was looking at the Bonds translations and saw that Gastrodon East Sea's Poke-Body could be very helpful to Glaceon. His body, Sticky Hold, says:

When this Pokemon moves from the Active slot to the Bench, choose any number of Energy attached to this Pokemon and attach them to the newly switched-in Active Pokemon.

Could this be a tech in a deck (Eveelutions or otherwise), or am I reading too much into this?

Any helpful (i.e. non-sarcastic) insights/ideas would be welcome.

It's not really a tech as such because it doesn't belong anywhere but a Gastrodon deck. I don't see any point in sending up a Gastrodon, attaching Energy to it, and then retreating for Glaceon (which will cost you an Energy/Switch/Warp Point anyway).

Why not just attach the Energy to Glaceon in the first place?
