so HARSH lol. 10-2 gaining 128 points just wont happen at the last tournament of the season, so yeah that was outlandish. But many threads on the gym are pure speculation or have a tenuous link to reality, and as you point out the window for speculation is only as long as it takes the TO to upload followed by the ratings run and whatever cleanup is needed.
Seniors had it tough though: 59 players isn't a "nice" tournament, two losses and your day is basically over All the tougher as it was the seniors division that contributed to the growth in attendance.
I just checked and at the time of this post the Canada Nationals is not uploaded. Took me a week to fix the UK nationals - hope it doesn't take that long for Canada.

That's not much of a surprise. The Ontario metagame is ridiculous and unpredictable.
Is Adam A. the Adam from Ontario that works at Skyfox games?

Any Juniors updates? I know of a certain self/parent of a kid ranked #38 that would really like to know.

Vince - It appears that there were only a few players with a realistic chance of moving up in Juniors. One of them took a swiss loss, meaning there is no way they could gain 100 points. At worse, two players moved into the T40. 37th is safe.
Edit: Well there cutoff is much lower, but I still think at most two move into T40. And your son is 38th. We'll see. Would be nice if they updated it tonight.

I went 10-3 5th place with luxchomp straight no ERL. It was fun and think I will go to Worlds.

Had a lot of fun this year. Some great competition, and Matt K/Bidier swarming Nats with PLOX was ridiculous (in a good way). I should have played Cursegar. My deck wasn't really Jumplux... it was PowerPlux. Alakazam was key to at least 2 of my swiss wins. Pluff was expected, but I believe Dakota G (made top 16) and myself were the only ones running it in T32.
Jason: I went 7-0 in swiss lost to 32nd seed (James Neumann) from Quebec.
Glad I finally got to meet some of the Western/Eastern players this year.

I was playing AMU because I was very confident it could have beaten everything and because I had over 200 games experience with it.
I wasn't wrong, I had very good matchups against LuxChomp and Plox. Even though I did 4-3 in swiss (Got donked on T2 in round 6 and I made a mistake in round 7) I feel I got beaten once only since one is my fault and the other I was playing for about 15 secs.
I wasn't expecting a lot of Mewtwo and from what I know I wasn't wrong, but ultimately I faced one in Top8 and that was my downfall.
With all the Spiritomb in this tournament, Azelf's Downer Material gave a lot of headaches during my matches.
If someone wants to play AMU for Worlds, I'd recommend to tech Mewtwo against Mewtwo because it's the only Tech that doesn't downgrade the deck among all Techs available. It can still recuperate some energies after 2 or 3 Supreme Blast and it can give you 1 or 2 prizes and removing some pressure from Mesprit Lv.X.
