I know a hotel in Toronto that can sit 4-400 people in a ballroom is that good enough?

There are probably 500 hotels in toronto that fit this description, however it is your sig that has me puzzled. Unless you were on the Queen Mary in Long Beach California in the year 2000, you are not the founder of team Canada. The founder would be John S. of Windsor Ontario, also known as Professor Maple. John was a fixture at all the premier events including 2002 worlds Seattle, after that he switched to MLB showdown...I am trying to get him back into Pokemon, but have had no luck so far.

I am really on a roll today

I guess even my statements are a little off as well. I forgot about that league too. Mind you, I haven't seen any major tournaments being held there, so I guess that's why I forgot.

As for when Barrie started, I can only guess, because I started probably well after it was established. But we took it to a new level (or so I'd like to believe) with our new league in the south end. Many of the older players still attend here.

I had no idea Hamilton had the League and what-nots. I based my guess on the main tournamnets(CC, PC, PRs), which have been in those cities, and not in Hamilton as far as i know.

I have absolutely no idea where you got that info, but let's just say it's wrong. July 13th is a Wednesday. There is absolutely no chance of the Canadian Nationals being held on a Wednesday. Trust me. Seriously.

Hmmmm...shouldn't this be in the International subforum in Tourneys/OP?

*whoosh*

'mom

Ummm, 'Mom, .... Hmmm, since Canada's tourneys don't exactly qualify for "International", I'm not sure that was the wisest of choices. From what I understand, we're still under the supervision of POP "North America". I'm just wondering if tournaments announced for Mexico have been given the same treatment. Don't mind me, I normally get a little rankled when it seems like someone "seems to demote another person to the position of second class citizen". Since this doesn't seem like it has any bearing on US interests, you would send it elsewhere, yet when it comes to international issues, my posts seem to be snubbed, and I have no access to International in the professor forum. So tell me, ..... where would you think we fit in? I hope I'm just over reacting. I don't mean to be grumpy, but I think you should reverse that. I'll edit my post if you do.

Pokekid: I don't think it's wise to predict anything, and your synopsis of who's who as far as the neiborhoods are concerned are a little flawed, and might cause some tempers to rise. I suggest you edit that please.

sdrawkcab: It's good to hear so many are making the trip. You are very welcome. If you have some time (collectively) I hope we can get together. It's great to meet new friends from far away.
