Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Can't Touch This! A Scizor/Umbreon Block Deck

why do you need azelf? Your lines are thick enough that it isn't necessary....

cuz sometimes both scizors r prized or mightyena or something from the flygon line up is prized i might be just playing it worng. very nice deck btw i just love it. one last thing whats some good techs for this deck

Where your Azelf bro?

What if you fight Gyara deck and you get Trapinch in prize pile? Or Flygon? You gonna Moonlight Fang the entire game? Chances are if they get a Gyara set up, you'll be dealing with 90-110 damage every turn.

How you gonna get cahds bro?

Been playing this deck for about a week now. I'm running an Uxie Lv X (lucky pull lol) to add consistency and with an expert belt dose 80 for 2 colorless and 1-1 drifblim TR to slow down machamp. I also run rare candies instead of BTS because BTS are expensive and I don't want to aid a Gyarados deck in any way. I feed off of the Opponents BTS and use rare candy when I can't. It almost puts me and the opponent on an even playing field evolving wise except I have the edge. All the pokemon in the deck go no higher than a stage 1 evo and this deck plays very well against SP decks where they don't have to evolve. I seem to be controlling the evolving game well without BTS. Thanks again for the great deck.

The stradegy is neat and probably fun to play. Just watch out for Arcanine (HeartGold SoulSilver)

This style of deck was winning at BR's (Juniors Division admittedly, but we've got Juniors who compete with Masters in our area so the decks aren't THAT horrible). All the Juniors playing it dumped it in favor of G-Dos for Cities, but I still like the concept.

It reminds me of the old Shuppet deck (R.I.P. Shuppet :( ) my son played to good effect last year. The build looks good, though I guess we sort of played it in reverse (more Scizors, less Umbreons).

IMO if you need more Umbreions than about 2 you're in for a losing game anyway. The biggest thing we found problematic with this deck was the lack of HP. Yes, you can tank a Scizor pretty well, and we were playing the idea before Seeker so perhaps this deck runs much better now, but 100 hp, even with -40/attack would seem to be VERY problematic.

Good deck list, and a fun deck to play...treated my son VERY well at BR's this year.

Great idea using Espeon Prime as a counter to Machamp! I was thinking of running an Umbreon deck of my own sometime, though I think I might play him with Weavile for more disruption.

I ran this deck very well for about 3 weeks now but am still having trouble against gyarados. I took out the scizors and everything metal in this deck and added a 2-2 luxray lv x line, crobat g, honchcrow G, and sp elements such as sp radar, poketurns, cyrus's conspiracy and only run 2 rare candy rather than any bts. I think this is now just as good as it was before and now even or favorable against Gyarados. This deck idea has fascinated me from the begining and I just want to thank the creator of this deck and post again.
