Hello -

Just getting into the Pokémon scene with my son. He has been colleting over the years but just now getting into playing it.

He currently has over 900 cards, most of which probably aren't playable in league or tournaments, but I would like to start categorizing them as we go so we know. I did fine one card manager software which seems to have all the cards and does what it needs to do, but it doesn't have the ability to print reports or sort any specific way.

Anyone that can provide any amount of information and direction into a decent card management software, that would be fantastic.

Thanks!

I have found it quite helpful to categorize my cards by sets which I then place in a binder. By doing so, I can review legal sets quickly in order to review certain cards or get another deck idea. I also keep a box of the playable cards sorted by type. As far as software, I just use Excel to track all my decks and notes regarding the deck (from tournaments). I do maintain a "template" worksheet that already lists the Trainers and energy. I just then need to supply the Pokemon and the counts for the cards I use in the deck.

Hope these comments help.
