Card Symbols

Hello I am new to Pokemon (well actually a retired veteran who came back from the grave :lol. I am frustrated because even though I got a new starter deck I am making it better each day and I heard how they are getting rid of everything from DP to LA. But I don't know which symbols mean what! If someone could kindly post an image of every set that is legal/not legal or at least post some of the symbols that would be greatly appreciated for a noob veteran. Thank you!!!!
