Cards that make the opponent draw...

Hey guys,

I've been planning on making a new deck (which I will share when it is finished). It will require the opponent to draw lots of cards though.

Are there any cards that force the opponent to draw cards (without shuffling their hand), or to somehow fill their hand with as many cards as possible?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Wow, tough one.

First, you might want to give us an idea what your deck will be. If you are focusing on discarding cards, try Rhyperior DP. Straight off the deck into the discard.

In terms of cards that force the opponent to draw. You can mulligan, or you could use speed stadium.

Speed Stadium is optional, but if you get the flips, you must draw. Otherwise I can't think of anything besides their own Uxies and other draw engines.

Thanks.

I'm thinking of somewhat of a fun deck with Purugly G. Basically the opponent draws a ton of cards, then a heap of them get discarded.

Medicham LV.48 - Psychic - HP90
Stage 1 - Evolves from Meditite

[P][C] Channeling: 60 damage. Your opponent draws 2 cards from his or her deck.
[P][C][C] Chakra Points: Does 10 damage plus an additional 10 damage for each card in your opponent’s hand.

Weakness: Psychic (+20)
Resistance: none
Retreat Cost: 1

Comes in DPt3.

With Claydol going out, there may be some new deck out strategies. The Rhyperior is one. So is Flygon, and Giratina. Trying to make several of them work together is a tough exercise.

Alan:Just play anywhere from 1-3 Purugly's, SP Trainer engine, and then a bunch of support (but don't play any other basics)

Then just mulligan the heck out of your opponent's and hope they draw, It's almost impossible to not get the T1 Chip Off because of Energy Gain or an Energy in your hand.

I've built it before, it's not half bad

Absol Sw for bailful wind then they draw more with Claydol/whatever. It would work very well . Discard their hand then they draw more cards. You would be able to deck them out faster, plus you could get rid of their important cards before they have a chance to play them.
