Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Celebi Forest Breath

Sorry if this is either a dumb question or one that has been answered somewhere in the forums already. I haven't found my answer in any of my searches of the forums.

It has been suggested to me that Celebi's Forest Breath can be used more than once by using the Forest Breath of active Celebi, then playing switch to bring another Celebi from the bench to active position to use Forest Breath a second time. The card reads "once during your turn", so that doesn't seem right. Maybe I am missing something because I'm a newbie. Can anyone answer this for me?

Thank you,

The Inscrutable Poodle

It is once per turn per Celebi. If it were once per turn no matter how many Celebi you had, it would read more like Victini's Victory Star ability, for example.

(You could in fact use forest breath, switch into a different Celebi, use forest breath, play Seeker to pick up the first Celebi, put it back down, switch back to it, and use forest breath again, because the game counts it as a new Celebi since it's gone through your hand. This is almost certainly not the best use of all of those switches and grass energy, but you never know.)

yes it can, it is a poke-power which can be used once per turn per pokemon in play. So technically speaking, you could have 2 celebi Primes and switch them and have an attach off both plus your attach for the turn.
