Chandelure in the TCG!

I liked the incorrect translation more because it meant that it probably would be cheaper for me to get one for my collection. :frown: After HS Jumpluff, UD Vileplume and BW Cinccino, so many of my favorite Pokemon have had competitive cards that are more expensive than usual lately...

Dude. Chandelure Active, 4 Kingdra Prime benched?

And you plan on getting 4 Kingdra prime out anywhere near as consistently as 1 Chandelure and possibly 1 Reuniclus? Because otherwise that slight chance of 40 isn't going to help Kingdra's chances versus consistent 30.

It seems like many of you are completely blind to the fact that this is a stage 2 Pokémon which has to be active and has 2 retreat. Running this as a tech will take up too much space (2-1-2 or 1-0-1 Chandelure and 1-1 Dodrio) and I know I will not hold off that many spaces for something that is not needed for a strategy to work. I can see decks based around this, and Chandelure/Kingdra would be cool, but swarming stage 2s just do not work out well without some sort of engine. Though the HP is pretty good its attack is not, and therefore keeping this active will not do you any good. Running 4 switch 4 junk arm and other stuff to keep this out of the active spot will just plain remove your deck's consistency unless it is already built for running this.

Junk arms help for the psychic energy acceleration combo. Jirachi to pick up psychic energies. Shaman to move them. Junk arm juniper sages etc to discard them.

You misunderstand the idea. While it's slow, clunky, and will never be competitive (like me), Having Chandelure active and 4 Kingdra on the bench means a 70 snipe every turn, without attacking ^_^
