However, Skyla getting her own card is only going to remind me how many other Unova Gym Leaders were ignored unless somehow they all end up getting cards too. Like how Volkner got his own card in the DP sets while the rest of the Sinnoh Gym Leaders were tossed aside.

TCG is kinda weird like that.

EX: Lucian had his entire team from Platinum as Pokemon SP but I don think the other Sinnoh E4 members did.
EX: Magmortar wasn't holo in the last set yet Electivire is holo in this set. Aren't they counterparts?
 
Cilan also got a supporter a while back. I'd be amazed if Cheren didn't end up with a BW2 alternate art in the future, too.

The translation is not sure yet; but from what I understand, it searches for "trainers" not items. Meaning it could search out a Stadium, Supporter, Tool, ETC.

I don't know a supporter for a guaranteed Catcher, Switch, Dark Patch, etc. seems fully worth a supporter space, especially since people often use a supporter for a single card (Catcher) anyway.

Don't forget you can grab other methods for getting pokemon. I like the options it gives.

While this is true, in Generation 1, Venusaur also commits the unforgivable sin of being Poison-Type and thus weak to Psychic. Not even auto-crit Razor Leaf is enough to save you from that.

Anyways, continuing a dropped conversation aside, Flygon looks cool, Skyla is either insane or just good, and Warp Point seems nice to have back.

I wouldn't dismiss this card so easily. X4 weakness makes mewtwo and darkrai more vulnerable to pokemon who do 50 base damage.
