cheated team

I decided to restart my Ruby Version today. my friend let me use his Action Replay so that i could get some cheats. Normally i dont believe in cheating but this time i said what the heck. I used it to give me 99 masterballs, about 400 rare candies, about 400 full restore, PP max, and Max revive too. i also got about 500 max elixer. i got 99 of all of the tms and 99 of all the berries too (yes all of them) ill let you know that there are 40 different berries. I also got 1 of all of the key items. $999,999 doesnt sound too bad does it. this game should be the smoothest of all of them all. i am at Roxannes gym right now and here is my team:

Torchic/lv15
scratch, secret power, flamethrower, aerial ace

Corphish/26
ice beam, bubblebeam, brick break, rock tomb

I caught corphish wild at that level and taught him most of his moves through tms. I dont really plan on using the rare candies unless i need to reach a level really quick. for an evolution that is seriously needed, or to learn a strong move that cant wait. after i beat the elite four and raise my team a little i will use the rare candies to raise a battle tower team. it'll be the best. start giving me hints on a good battle tower team now would you? tell me what you think of me for using cheats and what a good team would be. im thinking the two above, salmence, Medicham, Riachu, and seedots evolution.

scrap somebody for Gardevoir. That's probably the best Psy type that is tourney legal in the game today.

What exactly is Action Replay? Similar to Game Genie or GameShark?

I don't think so. I believe it's a different device from the Gameshark, but it works similarly. You could be right, though. I wouldn't know for sure.

its like a gameshark, but its for the gameboy advance and i think it has better cheats. i like medicham better than gardevoir because it can learn basically the same moves as well as fighting moves. hes better all around. Heres my team now.

Lileep/24
ingrain, facade, giga drain, sludge bomb

Combusken/24
Fucus punch, secret power, flamethrower, aerial ace

Corphish/26
ice beam, bubblebeam, brick break, rock tomb

what do you think?

because i wanted to see if it worked on him. as long as i hit them as they are trying to weaken me (tail whip, growl ect.) it hits. i usually use it on a strong foe. In the future ill try to paralyze or put my foe to sleep with another pokemon and then hit them with the focused punch. it was basically an experiment where i happened to have 99 of the specific TM.

Quick history lesson.

A Europen company called Datel was marketing a product line called the "Action Replay" in Europe. An American company bought the rights to sell this product line in the US, but chose to re-name it "Game Shark".

Somewhat recently, Datel decided that they were simply going to market their own products on US shores under the Europen name of "Action Replay". The American company who owend the "Game Shark" name then sold the name to MadCatz (the most horrible video game accessory company ever) and Mad Catz then went and created their own cheat device and put the "Game Shark" name/logo on it.

So, old Game Sharks = Action Replay. New Game Sharks = crap.

Why use cheats in the first place? Where is the fun when you start the game with everything you could possibly get during the course of the normal game?

Focus Punch is a terrible Fighting type move. If you're gonna go with a Fighting move for Combusken until it learns Sky Uppercut as itself or Blaziken, you're better off with Brick Break which happens to be one of the best Fighting type moves.

i used cheats this time just because i have never started out with cheats before. i did it to see how fun it would be.

SS3 riachu, the max amount of money you can get is 999,999

and spectreon, what is DT?

Sky Uppercut and Brick Break are interchangeable IMO. I prefer Sky Uppercut on my Blaziken, but that's just me. Brick Break is better if there are a lot of people using Barrier and Light Screen in your area though.

Sky Uppercut for Brick Break???

I prefer Uppercut for one simple reason.... even though I own multiple TMs (anywhere from 2-5 of each of the 1 per gamers..) I genarally dont wanna waste a TN, especially a good one, on a Pokemon who basically doesnt need it....
