Ok, so I think I think I know the answer to this question, but if I have Cherrim on the bench with Sunny Day and a Kecleon with Colorful Body do i get only +10 or do I get +20 (since kecleion is fire and grass)?

You only get +10.
Once it sees a Pokemon, it just checks to see if it meets either requirement.
