Well at mourning i prepared my deck and everything and i looked at my deck carefully to make some changes. I ate home at lunch and i thought that the tournament would start at 12:00 so we got nervous that we werent going to make it. After lunch my mom drove me to pick up my aunt (roselia1900) as pokegym name. Burritogirl was playing ludicargo and i was playing victreebel/weezing. When we went to pastimes some kid named david wanted to borrow my slowking UF for the tournament and never gave it back  . We played one game for fun and of course i beat him. Now heres the games that i played.

Round 1 Paul with T2 Slowking
Well he went first and he started off with 2 slowpokes (confusion wave) i started off with plusle i got pidgeot and victreebel/weezing on the 2nd turn. I beat him in 3 moves and he evolved both his slowpokes to dark slowkings and at that time, I koed both his dark slowkings.
Win 1-0

Round 2 Corey with Spinning T-Tar/Pidgeot
It was really annoying and he kept stalling for time and i made a huge mistake on my part because when i played pokemon retriever i picked weezing instead of bellsprout so when i looked through my deck i had no bellsprouts left!!! so that cost me the game without any victreebels.
lose 1-1

Round 3 Rodger with SMP
He was unfamliar with the cards i played with so he had nothing really to play with, so I KO'ED his scizor ex, pidgey, and metagross. All he had left in the end was metagross DX while i had weezing and a victreebel. I was hoping for a fluffy berry since i had victreebel active so i did and finish him with weezing.
win 2-1

Round 4 Abraham with Medicham ex/Espeon ex/Umbreon EX
This was one of the easiest match ups ever i ever had so far since i had a perfect hand while he had jirachi DX so he was hoping to get a basic to survive a little longer, and so he didnt phew. I finished him in 2 moves basically it was so fast i forgot how i won.
win 3-1

Round 5 Rob with Jolteon ex/medicham HL
Things didnt look good for me in the beginning because he had a jolteon ex that KOed my pidgeot which really hurt my strategy. Luckily all i had was victreebel and weezing. I kept using dessert ruins to kill all his joteons with weezing. It was annoying in the beginning because he kept getting heads like super scoop up, pokeball, and energy removal 2. In the end I koed about 3 of his jolteons with weezing and dessert ruins.
win 4-1

Here were the 8 players now i didnt catch all of their names but i caught what decks they were playing.
15+
1)Jason Klazynski (Ness) with Blastoise EX/Lugia EX/Blissey EX/Pidgeot
2)Ricky Berliant (Skarmbliss) with Victreebel/Weezing/Pidgeot
3)Ryan with Typhlosion ex/Electrode EX/Rayquaza EX
4)Rob Dawns with Jolteon EX/Medicham HL
5)John Bagshaw with ZRE
6)Will with Metagross/Scizor/Magcargo
7)Jimmy Ballard with spinning TTar/Pidgeot
8)???? (Jimmy Ballard's Friend) with Nidoqueen/Weezing dx

11-14 Top 2
1. Quinn D (T2 Hariyama)
2. ????? (Delta Metagross, Delta Dragonite)

10 and younger
1. James B. (Dusclops EX/Electrode EX)
2. Jason D. (Lunatone and Solrock)

It was me VS Rob again LOL
Game 1
Well he won the first game. What happened was i played rare candy on all of my guys and Ron sent out a medicham HL that played ATM Rock which really cost me the entire game. But however i did put up a good fight since i was down to my last 2 prize cards at least. Also he battle frontiered me which preventing me from using pidgeot pokemon power, so that was an automatic loss right there and i didnt even pick up one dessert ruins the entire game. I KO'EdD Jolteon ex, plusle and medicham HL.
Loss 4-2

Game 2
Well it was nerve wrecking since i lost to him the first game. It was better than the first game because i had a really lucky hand getting pidgeot on turn 2 so i kept building my setup so while he was focusing building up on his jolteon ex. So this time the flips werent going his way so he got all tails from every card he played which cost him the game right there. I kept annoying him by playing rockets admin forcing him to get rid of all of his good cards. When he played scoot and i saw him pick battle frontier. I got confused of why he didnt place battle frontier so i kept dessert ruins out damaging his jolteon. I koed 6 of his guys
Win 5-2

Game 3
It was one of those games where we kept going back and forth but however i was ahead on prize cards and i had a pidgeot out so i took complete control of the game. I didnt use rare candies on my guys because i figured that he was going to use ATM rock so anyways he got frustrated because he was counting on ATM rock to win. Also half the flips he got were heads from playing those trainer cards. Things werent going his way from drawing the cards he needed so I won buy KO'ing 6 of his pokemon which were 2 jolteon ex, plusle, and medicham HL.
Win 6-2

The top 4 players that made it to the semi final rounds were

1. Gardevoir88 (Ricky) with Victreebel/Weezing
2. Ness (Jason) with Blastoise EX/Lugia EX/Pidgeot/Blissey EX
3. Ryan (Bigginz) with Typhlosion EX/Rayquaza EX/Magcargo/Electrode EX
4. ???? (Jimmy Ballard's Friend) with Nidoqueen/Weezing

Phew i made it to the second round and my second round opponent was Ness with blastoise ex.
It was me (Gardevoir88) VS Ness
Game 1
Well it was kind of a close game since he only drew 3 prize cards but it was kinda an easy match up. I basically KO'ED his lugia ex,1 jirachi HL,1 pidgeot,1 blastoise ex. I heavenly depended on weezing to win for the game because of his liability and dessert ruins. He had an ok set up having blastoise ex with 1 energy, pidgeot, and lugia with none. He used elemental blast on his lugia with the combo of holon magneton and also the combo of blastoise exs energy rain so he had nothing after when he lost all those 3 energies. So i Koed all of his guys the rest of the way with victreebel and weezing.
Win 7-2

Game 2
Well we both had a terrible start he started off with lugia while i started off with bellsprout. He went first and had no energies it was my turn i swoop teleported my sprout to plusle and did call for family. He again had no energies but played one of the holon cards were you can get 3 basics i forgot what it was called. Later he had a blastoise ex, pidgeot and that was it i think. I had weezing and victreebel and pidgeot so i kept using dessert ruins on my weezing and kept KOing all of his guys. The cards that i KO'ED were blastoise ex, Jirachi HL, Lugia EX,Pidgeot.
Win 8-2

Well when i saw the 2 people playing for the winner i saw one of them which was playing nidoqueen/weezing and ryan who played Typhlosion ex/magcargo/rayquaza ex. I was kinda hoping for Ryan to win sice he had all those ex cards for my weezings liability and dessert ruins to counter with, and so Ryan Won that round.

My final opponent was Ryan with Typhlosion EX/Magcargo/Electrode EX/Rayquaza EX and it all came down to this.

Game 1
Well he had slugma and i had koffing which was a terrible start so i didnt do so well because i didnt get pidgeot until later in the game. Later Ryan had like 1 magcargo active, tyhplosion ex and quilava fully prepared litterally. While i had a victreebel and pidgeot. He used battle frontier to slow my combo down litteraly. So I KO'ED his magcargo, typhlosion ex and quilava. But he finished me off with rayquaza EX at the end, so i didnt do so well.
Loss 8-3

Game 2
Now I figured a way to beat his strategy. Well he had a good start with voltorb active and slugma bench and i stated off with plusle and koffing i call for family getting pidgey and bellsprout. He used recharge getting anthoer energy it looked like i was good as gone. I had candied pidgey to pidgeot and kept using quick search to get my set up. Ryan didnt realize that i had the combo with weezing and victeebel so he attached his 3rd energy to voltorb and evolve his to trode ex and used crush and burn KOing my plusle. Then i did my special combo with weezing and victreebel and Koed his trode ex. Things werent looking to good for him so he just kept focusing on building up his typhlosion exs while he had magcargo so he did knock over. Back and forth we kept using the same stadium cards he used fronteir i use ruins. Later he sent out typhlosion ex and KOed my pokemon then I finished him off with weezing and dessert ruins combined for the game. I Koed 1 typhlosion ex, 1 trode ex, magcargo, and plusle DX
Win 9-3

Game 3
It all came down to this Ryan VS me (gardevoir88) we both had the same exact thing but how ever i got victreebel on the first turn and i used call for family getting pidgey and koffing. He did the same thing to me again with trode ex on my plusle then used my special combo on weezing and victreebel. Oh yea i had pidgeot. When i Koed his trode ex he had nothing to play with things werent going his way on the top decking. He brings out slugma and evolves it, He again kept focusing on building his typhlosion ex then eventuall he placed down rayquaza ex and i was like boy thats trouble. He had 4 energies on it so he did spiral blast for 80 which KOed my victreebel so all i had was weezing and pidgeot. Luckily dessert ruins helped me out so i got again another victreebel and i used liability on his rayquaza ex. Then he sends out his last pokemon slugma and he did nothing but collect. Then i fininshied him off with victreebels acid for 50 and that was game.
Win 10-3

Wow, excellent job playing an underrated deck like that. Do you know the final standings? I wish I had gone to this one but I had a family gathering and couldnt go.

Kevin

Good job Ricky.

Correct name from Ron to Rob.

Your deck was a great match of for any EX heavy decks, (which I had) I actually had 2 Medicham EX in my deck that I never bothered to show you in the 4 games since your deck just destroy's the EX's. Also, I ran only 2 frontier, and left the desert ruin out for a turn or 2 to Admin and hope to draw into one of 4 super scoops.

You need three things to win a tournament, good match ups, and absence of bad luck, and skill. You had them all, especially the skill.

John Bagshaw was the ZRE deck.
Jimmy Ballard was top 8 with Spinning Tail T-TTAR.

Well the next sets comming out has a very nice new victrebell in it as well that should improve some of the decks tougher matchups.
