Here's my prediction for the 2nd round:
East (aka who really cares)
Pistons/Bulls - I would have to say Pistons in 6. I think Chicago is good enough that they'll rebound from that 2nd half in game one and make it a good series, but Detroit's experience comes through in the end. I would be shocked if they didn't come out of the East.
Nets/Cavs - This one is hard to say, alot of it depends on what kind of calls LeBron gets as the series progresses. I think the Nets are a little bit deeper than the Cavs though, and the "who's going to matchup with Kidd" problem offsets the "who's going to matchup with Illgauskas" question everyone keeps talking about. Time for Vince to prove he's a top player though. This series could end up defining his career.
West -
Jazz/Warriors - Call me a homer, but I think this will be Jazz in 6 - an extremely close 6 though. The Warriors should have been praying for Houston to win since they would have undoubtedly killed them. The Jazz matchup much better with them though. Williams and Davis will both have to adjust to each other, since they won't have the huge size advantages they did in the first round. I don't know who's going to matchup with Boozer for GS; Harrington's going to have to play more probably, since he'd eat anyone else up alive. Utah has the attitude it takes to win in GS too. Their crowd is amazing, the biggest force a crowd will have in the playoffs for sure. I think Richardson is going to cause some problems for Utah though, since Kirilenko will probably be matched up on Jackson.
Suns/Spurs - This one is going to be a great series, as we saw just this morning. I think the Spurs will get it though, and it's probably going to be in 6. My gut says 5, but I think Phoenix is too good to not win 2 games. The Spurs can slow down the Suns, and they have a killer bench to go with it. Their depth is going to kill Phoenix who only goes 6 deep before a huge dropoff. Nash is going to have to be huge in this series, and Barbosa and Bell will have to knock down 3's like crazy. I just think San Antonio is the clear-cut favorite left. It's their title to lose at this point.
