Your Raichu d will damage your own pokemon with Zzzap. Dugtrio is easily shut down by Latilock (yes, I expect people will still tech those two in). Ray Ex d will have a hard time attacking with only 3 Lighting in the deck (he can't use DRE). Gengar is a decent pokemon, but i think there are better partners out there for him than Raichu.

So what should I play? Which other cards could I play with Gengar? I know I could play Raichu with Exegutter or Lucario. Should I play Infernape and Gengar?

Have you tried Cacturne with Gengar? You can use the PK one to do poison from the bench ... that + life drain = OHKO. Cacturne d is there to counter the darkness pokemon that Gengar is weak to and to aid in the damage spreading. Make sure that you have multiple copies of Warp Point/Switch.

Or you could pair Gengar with something that has free retreat, either another psychic pokemon and Phoebe's Stadium or one of the other free retreaters out there.

i try the cacturne thing it wont work that well... most decks that have powers now run windstorms and who dosent run powers run cess. and stupid castaway made the cess too easy to get.. it wont work

Cacturne sounds like a decent idea, but not just the one mentioned from PK. The CG delta version can get you a nice damage spread and finish off the pokemon that you flip heads on with Gengar. Typlosion (DF) can also move a damage counter to kill something off and is also Psychic. Chingling and Chimecho are a nice starter set to help draw into cards or get the suppoters you need early on. Absol Ex is also a possible tech card to help finish off already damaged pokes.

I don't like the first attack of Gengar, that much (it's just luck if you can own every Pokémon of your opponent or not). I want to play it because of the second attack, spreading damage and making it hard to my opponent to get Gengar.

Please rate my deck and tell me what you think about playing Gengar with Infernape.
