Lets start off with pokemon, pokemon lines should never have extra basics that just sit in the deck taking up room, for example your 4-2-3 lines of pokemon.. All the lines should add up so make your pokemon lines like this.

3-2-2-1 gradivoir/ gardivoir lvl x

3-2-3 amphy sw

4 stantler (sw, gets supporters)

20 pokemon

After taking a look at these pokemon, it comes to my attention that they really dont have any synenergy..(they dont really work together, theres better cards that can be played with them..) but i guess its ok

Now for the trainers.. You only run 12 trainers!! that will almost never work for every deck.. Every deck needs at least 20 trainers in my opinion. Heres a pretty basic trainer list.

4 rare candy
4 celios network (gets the pokemon that you need)
3 mentor/rosannes (sets up your bench so you can get the evoluions out faster)
3 tv reporter (straight draw card)
3 windstorms (gets rid of the pesky tools and stadiums that shut of your deck cesation crystal for example.)
2 stevens advice (very nice draw, recovery card..)
2 night maintnenece (later in the game it will help you from decking out, and good recovery.)
2 team galactics mars (good disruption card, you dont need to much of these.. But there still nice to have just to disrupt your oppenent!)

23 trainers

Alright now for the energy, running 20 is to much, you'll probaly end up just drawing into energy the whole game. Also I dont see the use of some of the energys that are really helpful! heres the energy list

3 Double rainbow energy (its a 2 for 1. and it lets you attack turn 2 if your lucky!)
3 scramble (this is very helpful, when your down in the game and you dont have energy on any thing, just attach a scramble and your going out swinging.)
6 pyschic
5 electric

17 energy

With the changed I made, you have a basic build of a deck, enjoy!

Thanks a lot, Prize.

I had 20 trainer slots reserved, I just only had 12 selected.

I also know that the cards don't work that well together, which is why I am looking for alternatives. Any other advice from people is welcome.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Sorry for double post.

If I take out either Amphy or Gardy, what would I put in instead? I want two types. Most of my cards are from DP, MT, and SW, so thems my options.

Since I've restarted, I haven't played much except against my father, who is just learning and uses a theme deck that I haven't had time to modify.

Anywho, I like the power/body of Ampharos and Gardevoir, but they don't really work that well together. Does anyone know any cards that combo well with either of their powers?
