So we cracked an all dragon box. 1Fa reshiram, 1 kyurem, 1 zekrom. Got full sets of all the t/s/s. Even an extra prism. Lots of playable rh. Not exactly spectacular, but could be soooo much worse.

What are the odds?

In a standard pack of Next Destinies, what are the odds of getting an EX (regular)? How about an EX (full art)? How about a given rare - say Gardevoir?
 
Just FYI, my box came in and I pulled a regular Reshiram-ex, regular Shaymin-ex and a FA Kyurem-ex.

Still craving for a Mewtwo-ex or three! :)

As for Gardevoir, .... on average a box ends up with most if not all the holos from the set, so it's pretty much 1 in 36 average of getting it as well.
 
If you read the rest of the thread, chances are you'd notice that they come one per every 3 boxes, so no, you don't have very good chances of getting one per box. Most CASES of product have only 2 shiny's.
 
When I get home, I'll try to pull together pull percentage data based on all the data I've received so far (which is about 464 packs) and see if the real data conforms to the estimates/ideal ratios.

Not that I'm doubting anyone's experience concerning this! But at least that experience can be backed up by emperical data. :)
 
I said 6 should be in the box but here is what I meant by that. Ether 5 normal ex's and one FA ex. 4 normal ex's and 2 FA ex's, 4 normal ex's, 1 FA ex and 1 shiny or 3 normal ex's, 2 FA ex's and 1 shiny.
 
If anyone cares, I bought a box and these were the EXs/Shinies:

Regigigas EX (full art)
Shaymin EX (regular)
Mewtwo EX (regular)
Emboar (shiny)

Arceus also decided to give me 5 Beeheyems, 2 rares and 3 reverse holos. Other notable pulls were 2 Amoongus and 1 Gardevoir. I was hoping for some Zebstrika, but it wasn't meant to be... Also, I got a full set of all trainers and energy. Still, I can't complain after getting the Mewtwo EX.
 
My box had:
Zekrom EX full art
Reshiram EX
Zekrom EX

Sold those 3 trolls and the codes and bought my mewtwo. Also got playsets or more of all the trainers and energies. Notable reverses include zapdos, level ball, reshiram, and gardevoir. And i got a nice spread of rare holos as well. After i got my mewtwo i was pretty much happy.
 
OK, just in case anyone wanted to know... here is the ratios of all the rares. Or rather, what your chances are of getting the following rares. This data is based on 467 packs: http://www.pokemonaaah.net/images/20120215.rareratio.png

Anyways, this is the final data:
* Nonholo Rare: 49/72 (68.056%, or 1 out of just under 1.5 packs)
* Holo Rare: 8/36 (22.222%, or 1 out of 4.5 packs)
* Rare (ex): 2/36 (5.555%, or 1 out of 18 packs)
* Ultra Rare (FA-ex): 1/36 packs (2.777%, or 1 in every box)
* Uber Ultra Secret Rares: 1/72 packs (1.389%, or 1 in every 2 boxes)

It took me a while to sort this out, but I figured it had to be some ratio of 18, or some multiple of 18. Anyways, the data support these ratios... so now you know!
 
I am curious, I pulled 2 ex and one FA, all of them also coming with a reverse holo common or rare. Did everyone EX, FA, and shiny pulls include an additional Reverse Holo, or did they sometimes just come alone?
 
I'm pretty sure all the changes of a particular pack such as when you get a holo or ultra rares - regular ex's, full art ex's (I think also including the 4 shiny) took the place of the rares so you'd still get a reverse plus the 5 commons, and 3 uncommons and an online tcgo code card per pack regardless of the upper rarity card you got in the pack. If I'm not understanding your question, please let me know.

Yes and no, my question was more of, does every pack with an EX or FA EX or Shiney also guarantee and rev holo common or uncommon based on everyones pulls of them.
 
Ummm, I think they may have a reverse rare or a reverse of what was originally a holo as well. In my case I'm pretty sure that one of my pulls with an ex I got a reverse of a rare, but at the time I was concentrating on the fact that I was lucky enough to pull an ex, so I paid less attention to the rest of the pack. Either way, you are guaranteed a reverse of one kind or another - at least in this set. I remember there was a set a while back that the chaser cards took the place of a reverse, but not ND.
