As I hear more, I will update this post.

If anyone has info on the Colorado events, please email it to me.

Also to get everyone looking forward to the prizes, here is a picture of the 1st place winner package: http://op.pokemon-tcg.com/content/ev...City_Prize.asp.

The 1st place finisher gets the above, however PUI has said the contents will change as the series progresses, plus 18 packs of Dragon Frontiers cards.

2nd place wins 10 packs of Dragon Frontiers cards.

3rd and 4th place win 4 packs of Dragon Frontiers cards.

Each player, while supplies last, will receive a City Championships stamped card and a City Championships 2006 - 2007 pin. We will have 50 of each of these and will be given out on a first come, first served basis. You will receive these items after you have had your deck checked and you register for the event.

These events are also the first of the season to count towards a players Premier Ranking, for the possibility of earning an invite to the Pokemon TCG World Championships 2007 in Kano, Hawaii.

For the Denver Metro Events that Ron and I are running, we have the following rules:

1: Each player must arrive with Damage counters, randomizer, Poison / Burn / Shockwave / Imprision Markers (If appropriate). Failure to do so, will cause a player to be considered unprepared for their matches and will result in a game loss for each game until the player has all needed material.

2: Players using dice as damage counters and randomizers, must use 6 sided dice (D6) only for damage (no others will be permitted) and either 12 sided or 20 sided dice (D12 or D20) as a ramdomizer). We will not be flexible on this.

3: Each player must have a deck list prepared, you may type it on the computer or neatly write it out, using the POP deck list (that form is available here: http://op.pokemon-tcg.com/tournaments/pdfs/POP_Deck_Reg_Form.pdf). Your deck must be in the same order as your list. If you have 4 different cards with the same name (ie: 4 Pikachus from different sets or different cards from the sames set) you must list each card separately. Also for those who use Mysterious Fossils, you may not use the old Fossil set cards (The ones with 10 HP instead of the cards with 50 HP - This is a PUI rule). You will not be allowed to register for the event until your deck has been checked and approved.

I believe all events are in need of people to help with deck checks. If you are a Professor / Judge ranked player and you are interested in helping us with this, let me know. Anyone helping with this will be checking decks of the lower age groups, instead of their own. The TO and Judges will be checking the Masters age group.

League Leaders: Please get this info to your players, either by word of mouth or by forwarding this email to them. Also if you can get a rough count of your players that will be traveling to each event, so that we can have an idea of the seating that we need.

For any questions email me at [email protected] or get with Ron at [email protected].

Thanks,

Wayne Cunningham

u have to have a 20 sided die for randomizers????? Arn't those illega???

Yes, either a 12 or a 20. No, they aren't illegal, at least not that Ron and I have been informed of from PUI. Basically this is the deal, we want players to use a dice that is completely different than their damage counters, color, style of die, size, ect.

O that makes some sense.... ,I've got one just wondering... O and about the two markers can u make thos or do u have to buy the starter for the official ones??

For the Shockwave / Imprision markers, I'm think it will be alright if players use something that is completely different from the damage / randomizers. If you use dice for damage and H/T rolls, it will be ok to use plastic coins / pennies / dimes whatever for your shockwave / imprision. As long as you make your opponent aware of them before your matches.

Today is the day guys. Westminster CC.

I know, I should be asleep right now, but, I'm stuck at work till 7am. 10am registration start, 12pm matches start.

Hope to see everyone there!!!!!!!
