POKEMON POWERS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

== CHLOROPHYLL (Venusaur - EX:Crystal Guardians)

Q. Does Venusaur's "Chlorophyll" Poke-BODY turn Boost Energy into one Grass Energy, three Grass Energy, or not affect it at all?
A. It would provide three Grass Energy as long as the Boost is attached to a grass-type Pokemon. It does not matter how many energies the card is providing, as long as the energy is only colorless. (Jan 18, 2007 PUI Rules Team)

== DARK EYES (Shiftry EX - EX:Crystal Guardians)

Q. Shiftry-EX with "Dark Eyes" is in play. If an opponent's Pokemon uses its Poke-POWER but the 2 damage counters from "Dark Eyes" KO's that Pokemon, does that Poke-POWER take effect?
A. Dark Eyes' wording begins, "After, your opponent uses..." so the damage counters happen after the effect is resolved. (Jan 18, 2007 PUI Rules Team)

== EVOLUTIONARY FAN (Shiftry - EX:Legend Maker)

Q. Can Shiftry's "Evolutionary Fan" Poke-BODY return a Shiftry-EX into your hand?
A. Evolutionary Fan only excludes any Pokemon named "Shiftry" (not just the one using the power); since "Shiftry EX" is a different name, you may pick it up. (Jan 18, 2007 PUI Rules Team)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
POKEMON ATTACKS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

== DELTA REDUCTION (Deoxys - EX:Holon Phantoms; Meganium - EX:Dragon Frontiers)

* The correct wording for the "Delta Reduction" attack should be, "During your opponent's next turn, any damage done by attacks from the Defending Pokemon is reduced by 30 (before applying Weakness and Resistance)." This means that the effect of Delta Reduction resides on the Defending Pokemon, not on the one performing the attack. (Jan 18, 2007 PUI Rules Team)

== FLAME SCREEN (Flareon EX - EX:Delta Species)

Q. If my Flareon-EX uses "Flame Screen" and then my opponent uses Warp Point on their next turn to send Flareon-EX to the bench, does the protective effect of "Flame Screen" wear off?
A. Yes, benching Flareon-EX removes Flame Screen's protective effect. (Jan 18, 2007 PUI Rules Team)
