== ANCIENT FANG (Omastar - EX:Legend Maker)

Q. If my Omastar with "Ancient Fang" Poke-BODY tries to use its "Drag Off" attack against an opponent's active Feraligatr-EX (and I have a Kabuto on my bench), will Omastar do +20 extra damage to the Pokemon my opponent brings up? Or does Feraligatr-EX's "Overpowering Fang" cancel out the "Ancient Fang" Poke-BODY before it gets switched out?
A. Omastar does 30 damage to the new Defending Pokémon. Feraligatr-EX's Overpowering Fang works only when it's the Active Pokémon, and it goes to the bench before damage is done. (Jun 8, 2006 PUI Rules Team)

== BINDING AURA (Hypno - EX:Delta Species)

Q. Does Hypno's "Binding Aura" stop any attachment of Energy cards (i.e. Blastoise-EX's "Energy Rain", etc.), or just my regular ‘attach 1 Energy card each turn’ action?
A. As long as you are attaching an Energy card from your hand, it gets prevented by Binding Aura if that Pokemon is Asleep. (Jun 8, 2006 PUI Rules Team)

Q. Can Rare Candy override Hypno's "Binding Aura" and evolve an asleep Pokemon? Or what about a Pokemon with the "Stages of Evolution" Poke-POWER?
A. No, you cannot use an Pokémon's attack, Poke-POWER, Poke-BODY, nor play a Trainer card to evolve your Active Pokémon when it is asleep, unless the Evolution card you would be putting into play, comes from somewhere other than your hand. [So Rare Candy cannot be used, but Wally's Training can.] (Jun 8, 2006 PUI Rules Team)

== OVERPOWERING FANG (Feraligatr EX - EX:Unseen Forces)

== PREHISTORIC POWER (Aerodactyl - Fossil Expansion)

Q. If I have a benched Fossil Aerodactyl and a Dark Pupitar active, and I flip heads on "Explosive Evolution", do I get to search for a card that evolves from Dark Pupitar and evolve it?
A. "Prehistoric Power" affects Pokémon being evolved through normal evolutionary means. Since "Explosive Evolution" is not a normal evolutionary action, Aerodactyl does not prevent it from happening. (Jan 20, 2005 PUI Rules Team; Jun 8, 2006 PUI Rules Team)

***** PREVIOUS RULING: THIS ONE HAS BEEN CLARIFIED; See Above *****
Q. If I have a benched Fossil Aerodactyl and a Dark Pupitar active, and I flip heads on "Explosive Evolution", do I get to search for a card that evolves from Dark Pupitar and evolve it?
A. It's been established in earlier rulings that "Prehistoric Power" affects Pokémon being evolved by Evolution cards being played from your hand as a normal evolution. Since "Explosive Evolution" comes from your Deck, Aerodactyl does not prevent it from happening. (Jan 20, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== STAGES OF EVOLUTION (Electabuzz - EX:Unseen Forces; Hitmonchan - EX:Unseen Forces; Hitmonlee - EX:Unseen Forces; Hitmontop - EX:Unseen Forces; Jynx - EX:Unseen Forces; Magmar - EX:Legend Maker; Wobbuffet - EX:Legend Maker)

Q. Does Magmar's "Stages of Evolution" turn React Energy into a basic Fire Energy card?
A. No. React Energy now provides Fire Energy instead of Colorless Energy, but it still counts as a React Energy card. (Jun 8, 2006 PUI Rules Team)

POKEMON ATTACKS

== DRAG OFF (Dark Machoke - Team Rocket; Rocket's Sneasel EX - EX:Team Rocket Returns; Sharpedo EX - EX:Deoxys; Omastar - EX:Legend Maker)
