Confirmation Lost World is in the new set

As far as I'm concerned, 'confirmation' is when an official source says publically that the card is in the set, or when a legit scan appears.

A report of an email that says 'it's the stadium everyone has been waiting for' is nothing more than a hint/tease.

I'm not buying this, it's probably fake and even if it's true, the description is way too vague to actually 'Confirm' that Lost World is in the set.

Wasn't there a Stadium who said you can bring back in play Pokemon FROM your lost zone?
That would be the Stadium we are waiting for, not a stupid Stadium to make this game even more skill-less as it is now.

Wishfull thinking.............

Everyone, please stop derailing the thread.

It's Lost World. Not Cursed Stone, not Crystal Beach, not Giant Stump, not Speed Stadium, not Lake Boundary. Lost. World. The spamming is getting old. For those of us who have been hoarding Gengar Primes for the past two months, this is great news. But yes, a copy of the e-mail would be nice. I personally believe you without pics, but apparently some don't.

Let's not turn this into a big you-know-what-fest about how Gengar Prime is going to ruin the game. It's not. The deck does take skill to play... besides, there are other threads for ceaseless whining about LostGar.

The deck does take skill to play...

Pardon,

What skills are you talking about.
Looking into your opponent's hand, pick a Pokemon and Lost zone it?

Or are you talking about Gastly / Candy/ Gengar / nrg / Look into hand/ LZ Pokemon ohhhhh I am so good now your main attacker is gone for the rest of the game.

If that's the definition of skill we are all professional players.

You don't win by repeatedly using Hurl. Mime Jr. + Chatot G, Palkia G Lv.X, playing around counters, Mew Prime, and strategic Seeker drops are what win you the game. You will use if you rely entirely on Gengar Prime. The deck will not win in the hands of a bad player. And yes... if you run a 2-1 Garchomp C Lv.X or something, I can potentially deprive you of your main attacker. But all this means is that good players will run heavier lines of important Pokémon.

If you don't, you're not a good player and you have no reason to complain about your single copy of a Pokémon getting LZ'd.

The only skill you need to play Gengar are common sense and deckbuilding skills.

Lol at the 2-1 Garchomp comment, 9/10 good players use 3-1 because it's superior in mirror.

Today I recieved an email from a very well known PTO, and it contained confirmation that Lost World Stadium is indeed included in the new set that is coming out.

Karol, this is not the way to treat "news" you got from your PTO. If I were him, I would be highly disappointed with you and not share information with you like this in the future.

Regardless, everyone knew whether or not you liked it that this stadium would be in the set. People need to stop doubting this and realize that it WILL be here for sure.

I am not even talking about Lv X Pokemon, those are even a bigger problem to run.

And the last time I checked I was only allowed to run 4 copies of a card, which will not be heavy enough against the LZ mechanism.

Exactly. You are playing G-Dos??? I lost zone 1 of your magikarps and I basically win the game

I've heard this from several people who got the same email so don't sit there targeting him...

Sorry no I don't play Gyarados and I don't play SP or Vilegar.

But I will stop derailing this topic, it's about a Stadium we yes/no will get.

Strategic Seeker drops? Seriously? It's a pretty simple concept that if they already have Pokemon in hand, then you don't need Seeker. One of the major downfalls about Lost World decks is that they are a simplified game of what we have at the moment. Taking 6 prizes means you have a variety of attacks doing different amounts of damage and effects, HP to counter in, which Pokemon to KO etc. Lost World is easy, just Lost Zone any 6 Pokemon as fast as you can.

People might be fed up of the last major game changing mechanic (SP) but at least that took skill to play.

Also I'm not a good player if I don't maximise Pokemon lines? How can Luxchomp players do that, or anyone runnning Lv X cards? If you run 2-2 and get any basics sent to the Lost Zone, you're in big trouble, and the same if the Lv X is Lost Zoned with a 3-1 line.

Finally, we don't even know for sure what else is in the new set. Stating exactly how games will go and what techs people will play isn't the smartest thing to do right now.
