Well.

yeah. I overstated.

Lost Remover doesn't get you any closer to a Lost World win, essentially.

Every time you attach a special energy you cannot discard, you are giving your opponent a prize.

Lost World is Pokémon only.

「おたがいのプレイヤーは、それぞれ、自分の番に、相手側のロストゾーンにポケモン6枚以上あるなら、対戦を終了し、自分の勝ちを宣言できる。」

ポケモン = Pokémon.

It also doesn't really do much in general, except against decks that rely on a lot of basic energy always being there. Unless Gengar wants to play Ambipom, Garchomp has no reason not to wait to attach Specials until it can Dragon Rush. At least that's my understanding, I admittedly haven't tested Lostgar yet.

Wowowow 'Pedia's translation says "cards." Um... well. >.> Sorry about that, guys. My mistake. Actually, not really. Someone else's mistake. I'll see to it that that's fixed in a few minutes. Ah well. Still, my other points are valid. Geez, gotta edit my post so I don't look like an idiot.

That would be insane if that were the case. Forget Gengar, just Chatot G/Mime Jr + Absol G X +Lost Remover 6 stuff into the Lost Zone.

I'm almost done with a little article on a couple of techs to deal with LostGar. I'm also going to try and post some playtesting videos on youtube.

@Eric, Kwis and more: The point of having Lost Remover in Gengar is to counter one simple card: Rescue Energy. With Rescue Energy, Gengar's Pokebody is negated, meaning that Cursed Drop becomes useless. Actually KILLING anything becomes useless. All you can do is hurl and hurl and hurl.... Granted, keeping Pokemon out of your hand is difficult for most players, so Hurl into Darkness will probably hit a few targets, but still, it narrows Gengar's options pretty much down to 1. Way predictable.

With Lost Remover, you have a lot of other options/combinations possible, like Shadow Skip Gengar, Crobat drops, pretty much anything that can move or place damage counters while Gengar Prime is active. The deck becomes much more versatile, and instead of your opponents thinking, oh, YAWN, Gengar. Rescue NRG + Judge FTW KTHXBAI, they think, Oh, Gengar. Wonder which variant it is.... Hmm....

And all of a sudden THINKING starts! O.O

Edit: *facepalm* Never mind.....

Yeah- sorry to burst your bubble- Cursed Drop places damage so it never activates Rescue Energy. Sorry.

If Lost World couldbe counterd it would be better. They should errata it to say. IF lost world reamin in play after your opponets turn and they have 6 or more pokemon in the lost zone you win. that I could except. But as written it is not a fair card at all.

Pokebeach backs it up on the front page. So we have multiple sources confirming the same things. Lost World is no longer speculation, it's about as sure as you can be without actually seeing the picture.

This is the most hype in a while, but can I remind you:

Blaze is winning worlds
Rock lock is unbeatable
Donphan is broken
Infernape does 90 for a DRE, the game is over!
Gardevoir ex is broken
etc...

I beat Rock Lock all the time with my basic deck. Made it to the finals.

Anyway. I played Pokemon because its not Yugioh. Pokamon did not have cards that let you win the game. This, to my understanding is the first time.

They act like removing cards from the game is a big deal to make it a new win condition. They just to and idea thats been around and went wild with it. Lost World needs to be banned. No new player is going to find intrest in a game where all their games are going to be a auto-loss because they don't know what to do.

I even see Stage 2 deck getting ruined because of the heavy Pokemon/support lines. At least make Lost World say If this stadium was in play for a full 3 turns and a player has 6 Pokemon removed from the game, you can win the game.

People need to stop overeacting about Lost World/Gengar. There's no way that a Gengar player can fit a Dark SP counter, Fossil counter as well as Deafen counter into a 60 card deck and still have the consistency to get Stage 2s set up the entire game. That's not even worrying about time..

1-1-1 Machamp
4 Rainbow Energy instead of Psychic Energy
TR Spiritomb (Should be in anyway)

Voila, I just countered Fossils, Dialga and Dark SP's in one fell swoop.

Voila, your deck isn't very consistent. A 1-1-1 Machamp in just about any deck is going to wreck your consistency and be hard to get out.
