Ladies and gentlemen, I am currently sitting next to the national champion of the senior division, Michael "Hammer" D.! Congratulations to him for a job well done and a great job overall in the tournament. Worth saying is the fact that he has won every type of premier event this season. Truly a great player Michael, you deserve it. Congrats friend! Now onto the TMB and worlds!
 
2nd place was a Luxchomp, going 14-1 overall.

And can you tell me the decks played by 2-4 place. Though I do have a feeling that Aylam played switchgar...

dude michael is the god of trade off game 3 against aylam he tradeoff's for lux x and game 2 in finals top decks the last turn to scoop up a sp to make a thunder fall not sudden death gl @ nats
 
Yo mike i really wanted to play you in top four, or maybe even top two. but it didn't happen. i haven't played you in a modified tournament in SUCH a long time. well good job and ill see you at worlds =p
 
Mike... congratulations on a great run to becoming the National Champ! I'm sorry we couldn't stay to see the finals.

Although I know your brother better, as a player in our area we have followed your progress over the year. I've also had the opportunity to judge some of your events. With that perspective I can say you are not only a top quality player but a quality individual as well.

Congrats Mike! Truly a great national champion who has been a GREAT player for years, maybe the BEST Junior or Senior in HISTORY with no major title, until NOW!

Aylam played Cursegar w/ 1-1 Lux and corbst + turns.
