Copy vs. Mimicry

This question came up the other day and I wasn't a hundred percent sure of the answer.

Player A has Mew d POP 5 active against Player B with Mew* d. Could Player A use Copy to copy Mimicry and thus use one of Player B's benched pokemon's attacks?
