At league, a friend and i enter the weekly DS tortament. HE ALLWAYS WINS!
I want to beat his team so i need to know what pokemon to raise to counter his team.
Rulz of the tortament are 3 pkmn single battle lv.100. 1 legendary, no same pkmn or items.
His team: Mewtwo garchomp t-tar.
If someone could tell me what pokemon/nature/EVs/moveset to use against him it would be great;.

Do you know what order those pokemon are in?
if not
Use this Team =]

Metagross @ Life Orb
EV Spread 112 HP/252 ATK/16 DEF/ 132 Spe
Adamant
Meteor Smash
Ice Punch
Agility
Ice Punch

This Set is good If you know the Mewtwo is going up first.
You Use Agility first, because most Mewtwo Sets do not have FlameThrower.
Actually, I have never seen a Mewtwo with Flamethrower/fire blast.. (not a good one anyways)
So you have your +2 speed, You go on and KO or near KO his Mewtwo with a Life Orb STAB Meteor Mash.
If he retreats to Garchomp, you will Outspeed it with your Agility and use Ice Punch,
If the Ttar, then you just Meteor Mash.
Since you have 112 HP Evs you will most likely be on low HP after a few hits, Just Explode, as you know you are ahead..
Even by just knowing his team.

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
EV Spread 252 HP/ 168 DEF / 88 Sp Def
Impish
Ice Fang
Slack Off
Earthquake
Curse

Once the Mewtwo is down, You can Wall the rest of their pokemon.
Use Curse and Slack off to raise its Defences and Attack, while they try to 2HKO you
You can run through the Opponent's Ttar and Garchomp.
Just be aware that your attacks CAN miss Garchomp because of its Sand Veil.
Make sure you don't risk it entirely.

Gyarados @ Life Orb/Choice Band (depending on Item Clause or not)
EV Spread 252 ATK / 4 DEF / 252 Speed
Adamant
Waterfall
Dragon Dance/Taunt
Earthquake
Ice Fang

Intimidate can make their Physical attacker very weakened, and it can help you set your Hippowdon up (curse)

Good luck =]
i'm gonna have dinner now =p

His team ordar is mewtwo garchomp t-tar

edit: thx for the spisific pkmn but you listed ice punch x2 on metagross!

silent i have a Mewtwo that his Moveset is Fire Blast/Psychic/Shadow Ball and Recover but i'm thinking of changing the Recover to Hydopump for move effectiveness.
But what silent said should be a good time but i always seem to have a problem with dragons againsted my Mewtwo but at the same time i haven't battled the team he said. Good luck hope you get the win this time

start off with honkrow, spam sucker punch, that or do a modest lucario holding a choice scarf. lucario would probably be better since he can cover the dragon and mewtwo. probably go with dragon pulse, dark pulse, arua sphere, and extreme speed incase they have a focus sash. this can one shot every single one of there pokemon.

but the hippo would be nice against the garchomp and t-tar, dusknoir is a awesome counter too. brick break, ice punch, shadow sneak. EQ

if you use just dusknoir and lucario you can take out everyone on his team. the 3rd could be just a filler.

mewtwo garchomp t-tar

people, if you could list the pokemon you say to use like silent put them it would be great.

yeah people come on. just because your giving out free advice to help ralis when he asked for it, you should not make it complicated by using little paragraphs and tips to use certain pokemon and why they should be used. be nice and list out the pokemon.

seriously dude. you can't take the minute to read what we have to say. we were trying to give you options and you take it from there. if you want people to tell you how to raise your pokemon and specific sets go to noob-mogon

go for the exact same set as they are using
but if you do, make sure you always use 252 speed ev's and three moves on each to type trump they others.

252 EV/31 IV/Jolly Weavile looks like it should sweep his team unless something there holds a scarf (or Mewtwo is Timid which is most likely the case).

If you use Expert Belt and Mewtwo is not HP or EV'd at all, you have a not guaranteed chance of one-shotting Mewtwo. Life Orb gives a slightly better chance. If you use Choice Band in the same situation, you're guaranteed the knock out, however, if Mewtwo is not DEF EV'd and has more than 392 HP (156 EVs), the OHKO is not guaranteed. Regardless, Weavile can one-shot the remaining Pokemon fairly easily.

Knowing what sort of Mewtwo he's running would probably be helpful.

Other moves would be Brick Break for T-tar and Ice Shard/Punch for Garchomp.
