Hello,

I write today because I would like you to critique my Jumpluff deck (list provided below). I'm confident in my deck and its ability to do well at Nationals, however, I find that having others review my deck opens my mind up to new ideas--which is always a good thing in the world of Pokemon.

4-3-4 Jumpluff (HGSS, MT,HGSS)
1 Uxie
1-1 Luxray GL
1 Azelf ( Mysterious Treasures)
1 Azelf (Legends Awakened)
1 Mespirit ( Legends Awakened)
1 Crowbat G
2-2 Claydol
1 Chatot
1Unown Q

3 Roseanne's Research
2 Pokemon Collector
1 Palmer's Contribution
2 Judge
1 Cynthia's Feelings
4 Bebe's Search
1 Cyrus Conspirator
2 Rare Candy
1 Expert Belt
4 Broken Time Space
2 Pokemon Communication
1 Night Maintenance
4 Poketurn
1 Luxury Ball

6 Grass Energy
1 Warp Energy

I decided to run the "pixy line" because I feel there will be a lot of SP decks at Nationals; Warp Energy is not only for Gliscor, it allows me to switch to Luxray GL.lvx for a quick knock out; Luxray LV.X for a quick knock out.

What are your thoughts on my Jumpluff deck? I would appreciate any and all help.

Thank you for your time.

You should put in 1-2 multi energy, try taking out 1-2 grass energy. IMHO 4 BTS is overkill, you could take one of the judges too to upp the rare candy count to 4. Also, try putting in2-3 warp point by taking out a skiploom, palmers, and maybe cynthias

Take out a Skiploom for another Uxie, and the Warp Energy for another Rare Candy. Almost no one plays Glisctomb these days because of all the LuxChomps running around. I'd then take out the Palmer's Contribution for a 4th Rare Candy, and a Judge can be replaced by a 3rd Pokemon Communication. Speed is very important in a Jumpluff deck, and more Rare Candies and Pokemon Communications help with speed. Lastly, take out one of your Grass Energies for a Multi Energy.

-2 Grass Energy
-1 Warp Energy
-1 Judge
-1 Palmers
-1 Cynthias
-1 Skiploom

+1/2 Candy
+2 Pokemon Communication
+1 Roserade GL (It's optional, works well with luxray GL stalling them out, and if you drag claydol out you can make it die at the end of their turn)
+1 Uxie (speed is essential)
+2 Multi Energy

If you do want to consider putting roserade in, i'd personally ditch cyrus', doesn't give the deck enough speed.

The deck is based around speed, so you want to be able to set up really early game, maxing out things like communication is essential. 4 BTS may seem like a lot to some, but in jumpluff it works well, as it prevents spiritomb locks from occuring, and you don't want to be stuck with a 30HP hoppip on the bench. You want on the first turn you can possibly play trainers to be able to play out all your cards, and if you can play uxie/claydol to draw a fresh hand which you can use to your advantage. If you play well enough, you'll find yourself being able to set up a jumpluff line no problems attached. If you want a chance against things like kingdra or gyarados (for those who still play it) your only option is the luxray, so multi energy is essential.

Hope this helped!
