So this situation came up in a game recently at league and I wasn't sure of a proper ruling,didn't see anything on it in the compendium to date.
Vanilluxe "Crushing Ice" attack does 60+10 more for each energy in the defending Pokemon's retreat cost.
Darkrai ex "Dark Cloak" ability gives all of your Pokemon with a Dark energy attached 0 retreat.
So say Vanilluxe attacked Darkrai ex with no energy,Crushing Ice would do 80 with no other effects in play to affect the damage,however if Darkrai ex had a Darkness energy attached would Crushing Ice still do 80 since the retreat cost printed on the Darkrai ex card is 2 or would Darkrai ex's ability reduce that damage to 60? Thanks!
