Well, I've finally decided to go back to my roots with Donphan and make a competitive build based off an old concept I had last season. I feel that with the addition of Machamp Prime this deck is much better and gives it the steam it needs to be a good late game deck, not just a fast donk deck. Here's the list:
-23- Pokemon
4-4 Donphan Prime
2-2 Ursaring Prime
2-2 Zoroark
2-2-2 Machamp Prime
1 Bouffalant
-12- Energy
6 Fighting Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy
2 Rainbow Energy
-25- T/S/S
4 Pokemon Communication
4 Pluspower
3 Pokemon Collector
3 Professor Oak's New Theory
3 Seeker
2 Professor Elm's Training Method
2 Twins
2 Energy Exchanger
2 Judge
Strategy:
Lead with either Donphan or Ursaring and either Tank and bash with Donphan or Disrupt and Swing with Ursaring for big damage. Meanwhile, get a benched Machamp ready so you can fighting tag a hurt active for a fresh one and seeker the damaged Pokemon. Machamp also serves as a great late game attacker, and Zoroark is great for Reshiram or Zekrom. Bouffalant is there as a revenge attacker that you can fighting tag back once you've got a fresh attacker ready.
I'm currently tweaking the deck-list shown here and there and I will post a revised list if I find anything else to be a better build. Meanwhile, your thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
