Am I able to use the Pokemon Catcher card from Dark Explorers as long as I use the errata rules and a current Pokemon Catcher card as a refference?

There are no more reference cards.
Players and judges are expected to know the errata and what is allowed.
Errata can be looked up either on Pokemon's website, or in the Compendium.
You can play this version of Pokemon Catcher as long as you follow the errata for it.
