Hey guys I need help with my potential deck for cities. I have only played 1 game against Blsatoise and have beaten it. I'm still not sure if this deck is consistent or not so I am currently testing it on playtcg and later PTCGO.

Pokemon: 16
3 Hydreigon
1 Zweilous(DR 96)
4 Deino (2 DR 93, 2 NV 77)
3 Darkrai Ex
1 Shaymin Ex
1 Sigilph or 1 Mewtwo Ex
3 Sableye

T/S/S: 31
1 Switch
4 Professor Juniper
4 N
3 Skyla
2 Random Receiver
4 Pokemon Catcher
4 Max Potion
3 Dark Patch
4 Ultra Balls
3 Rare Candy

Energy: 12
8 Dark
4 Blend GRPD

My strategy is to get a turn 2 Hydreigon with at least 3 energies on the board using the Ultra Ball/Dark Patch combo to get a turn 2-3 Night Spear. I use mewtwo to get ko's on anything weak to it and to get ko's on anything that I normally can't with Darkrai or Hydreigon. I find that I don't need Level Balls from past experiences at BR's because I usually just draw into my pokemon's. Also I use the dragon Deino's incase I'm up agains fightning decks and I use Dark Deino's against Dragon decks, just so I don't get donked.

personaly i play sigliph over mewtwo but that just me. a teched in tool scrapper and switch are also in order. other than that , 2 or 3 eviolites would be nice against terrakions, stop the OHKO. also a pain for ray decks as they now need 4 electric/fire and one of the other to get a OHKO

Do you know what I should take out for tool scrapper and eviolites? I'm still trying to keep my deck consistent to get thet turn 2 hydreigon. I don't think the switch is necessary in my area becausse no one plays any thing that can paralyze me. Also I prefer mewtwo over sigilyph just because mewtwo is also good against other pokemon.

Yeah but doesn't mewtwo deal more damage? I'll try out sigilph and mewtwo and see how each one works.

yeah but dealing more dmg doesn't matter if you instead could choose not to take any dmg and still get the KO;-)

sigilyph is also better against mewtwo it self.

mewtwo is better than sigi, it kos keldeo , other mewtwos and terrakions. shaymin is for keldeo if you're slow to set up and for late game.

it is not better? maybe against terrakion but that is the only thing then. mewtwo can be KO'ed by keldeo mewtwo quaza, any pokemon in the game, sigi can't even be touched by those pokemons, beside terrakion. sigi is way better then mewtwo,

If you're looking for cards to cut for Eviolites, you should be able to run the deck with only 3 Catchers, 3 Patches, and 3 Max Potions. To be honest, I'd cut a Max Potion first since it is most likely to be a dead card in hand for your first few Junipers.

Running only 4 Juniper, 4 N and 2 RR is kind of risky in my opinion...have you play tested it to see how consistent it is?

I prefer Mewtwo over Sigilyph myself, but that's a tough call to make.

I also firmly believe you are not running enough energy. At least one more Dark or Blend to get your count to 12, but more Dark than that really helps you nail the early Dark Patches.

I don't think you need 4 Dark Patch. I'd like to say you don't need 4 Max Potion either, but I completely understand wanting it, and I know if I ever made a list with 4 Max Potion in it I wouldn't look back haha.

Well I had Bianca in here and that worked out pretty well in BR but then cut them for skyla.

Yeah I think I'm paranoid about not having a max potion when I need it. I'm also afraid of discarding to many with junipers, ultra balls, computer search and i'm afraid of prizing them.

I'm still testing out sigilyph and mewtwo to see which one is better. Ilike mewtwo because if the situation calls for it,you can use psydrive.

I'll take out a dark patch for another dark energy then and try it out.

There is no need for 4 of any item, especially with Skyla. I would take out 1 Catcher and 1 Max Potion for 1 Switch and 1 Tool Scrapper. The Tool Scrapper discards Eviolites and helps you get more 2HKOs, and the Switch is in case of Stunfisk or Paralysis lock. I would probably also take out a Darkness Energy for 1 more Blend Energy so you have a better chance of using your Shaymin/Sigilyph/Hydreigon later in the game.

On the contrary, I really like the rest of the list, but I agree that you should try and find room for at least 1 Eviolite. I'm not sure what I, personally, would take out for it, but it's probably up to your playstyle. I don't think you can consistently get a turn 2 Darkrai with any build of Hydreigon, but if you want to try for it, more power to you.

Uh, I suggest Mewtwo EX > Sigilyph. Sigilyph dies to everything but EX's, and that is saying alot.
Also play 2 Sableye, You don't need 3. 2 is good enough and is searchable by computer search and ultra ball.

I agree that two Sableye is all you really need, but a third one really improves your odds of starting with it and can give you more options for your early game rather than having to try to scramble for one every now and again.

As far as Max Potion paranoia goes, bear in mind that the more you play in your deck, the more likely you are to draw into them at inopportune times. You can always Junk Hunt them back into your hand if you're stuck discarding one early game.

I may get shot for this, but I don't think you need 3 Darkrai. My list has only 2 Darkrai, 3 Sableye, and both Sigilyph AND Mewtwo. I find Mewtwo's helpful for late-game cleanup, while Sigilyph makes a good early-game wall against many decks.

One thing I would mention is that if you're not sold on Sigilyph, try the DRX Bouffalant. Serves a similar function in anti-EX support, but it scores OHKOes on Mews, Shaymins, and Celebis. Sadly it's also weak to Fighting, but you can't win 'em all, right? XD Its ability is super nice, though. If you manage to squeeze in Eviolites, you're reducing all attacks by 40!

Well I am not able to get a computer search in time for this weekend's cities so I just updated my list by taking out a computer search for 1 switch.

Now don't be spamming me saying that I need computer search in this deck because I know that but I am not able to get it in time for this weekends citie, so for now this is my substitute list until I can get computer search(which should be next weekend).

It would be helpful if you guys help me out with this list now!(w/o computer search)

Can I ask why you added a second switch in a deck that gives free retreat to anything?

EDIT: my bad, I thought you added a Switch to the list you had up there, I didn't realize you'd updated it.
