on a serous note, love letter, what the? basically, i'm assuming luvdisc to spam unowns to the bench and stadium play to spread damage, but what else? cause unowns and luvdisc can't survive on there own right?

Yes Kingdra is a good deck to use, and probably will do well if played right. I wouldn't play it if you are expecting Hurricane in your area though. Other than Hurricane, not much that can pull a OHKO on kingdra.

Hurricane has been hyped and laughed at more than love letter has been hyped and feared.

You can borrow whatever we aren't using, but we won't have a lot to offer, since Dan and I have to provide decks for four people.

And no, I'm not going to be playing Kricketune.

WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE A BAD MATCHUP AGAINST THE "HURRICANE DECK!!!!"
your matchups are very incorrect if you think that way.

Kingdra gets set up twice as fast as hurricane and can get set up quadruple the time it is going to take for gatr to OHKO it. Sorry but gg!
 
I'm a fan of hurricane just as much as the next guy, but there's no chance you'll OHKO anything Kingdra unless you plan on having 9 energies to throw away on one, in which case you won't be able to recover. Kingdra is scary, that's why i've chosen the cop-out for my battle roads and decided to go with pure disruption. I'm not ready to brave the risky, and wild world of Hurricane especially not with Kingdra running around.
 
The Miami hurricanes are coming on strong and won last night, so I guess it is looking good for :

Looks like we have some Hurricane fanboys in the house...

To me, Hurricane is just another deck. It doesn't seem all that special to me.... *shrugs*
It doesn't have a very good method of keeping water energy in the hand, or, from what I've seen.

Correct me if I am incorrect.
