Here we go Oklahoma Pokemon players!!! There are four more days until "Deoxys" lands in your state. Below are some up-dates for the "ex Deoxys" Pre-release Tournament at "Drake's Place" this Saturday, February 5, 2005.

(1) Bring a "new" Pokemon player that does not have a POP ID#. You and the new player will receive a FREE booster pack of the new "ex Deoxys". :smile:

(2) If we have someone that brings the most "new" players, they will also receive one of the new "ex Deoxys" Theme Decks of their choice for FREE. :wink:

(3) If someone brings at least five new Pokemon players, they will also receive FREE admission to the next Pokemon Pre-release Tournament. :thumb: :thumb:

(4) Master Professor Birch will have some of the new Pokemon Figures that each player will be able to choose from for their very own. (I hope that everyone gets their favorite or signature Pokemon.) :smile:

(5) Again, as MP Birch has done in the past, we will have drawings for door prizes during the day. (Good luck to all of the Pokemon players that will be attending.) :clap:

(6) Shawn Allred has FREE admission to the "ex Deoxys" Pre-release Tournament on Saturday as a result of his name being drawn at the "Team Rocket Returns" Pre-release in November 2004 for this prize. :biggrin:

Master Professor Birch will be leaving "Birchville Mansion" around 5:30am on Saturday morning, February 5, 2005. I will be heading to the "ex Deoxys" Pre-release at "Drake's Place" in Del City, Oklahoma. :cool:

If there are any Dallas/Fort Worth area Pokemon players that would like to attend and need a ride, please "PM" me, email, or call. I have room for three regular size Pokemon players or three and one very small players. I have a "Trailblazer" that I am driving now and I no longer have the the green "Birch Mo-van".

I regret to inform that I may not be able to come to this...Nor any pokemon event*prays to god*...I got in trouble at school today *sigh* and may get a TON of trouble*GREAT...Thats what I need*...Will try to beg out of it though...
 
Whicker/Jordan, I completely understand how you feel, as I'm the exact same boat. Debate kept me from competing in both Fort Worth and Austin CC's, not trying to fight to earn a 2nd title (or at least fight until swiss ended =P).

However, I got a favor to ask of you. If you show up for the side event at the prerelease, me and Tyler had a trade going. Can you take his cards so I can complete the trade the following day when you show up in richardson? His mom said he can't trade lol =(

Well it looks as if the "Pokegods" have looked down on Oklahoma and said let the Pokegames begin!!! It looks as if the weather has favored us for this weekend in Oklahoma. Let's have a great turn-out and enjoy this nice weather while we can. It is only two more days until the "ex Deoxys" Pre-release Tournament. I have looked at some of these cards and they are again, awesome!!! The pictures and graphics are as good as it gets. :thumb:

So, get "PSYCHED UP" for this one it will be a Pre-release to remember. I hear too that my "G-HQ" ladys are ready to keep their streak alive. Look out guys, the ladys are ready to battle. (I love it!!!) :clap:

Yes, I am showing up for the Side Event if I can. Not only to pick up cards but to see if I can play as well.
 
Well are prerelease day is today.sounds like a few of you cant go.I hope things work out to where you can all be there.and good luck to all that do show up.
 
Ig ot a question...My friend isnt very good at this...He asked if I can make his deck for him*Using the cards he gets* is this legall in both the main and side event?

I don't imagine so. If people don't think they can/would be able to build their draft decks, then they can join the Theme Deck Challenge.

I would like to say, "THANK YOU" to all of the players and parents that attended the "ex Deoxys" Pre-release Tournament on Saturday. Congradulations, to the winners and I hope everyone had as good time as MP Birch did. Awesome attendance numbers that we had. 61-players in the Pre-release and 38-players in the Booster Draft. :thumb:

Again, I just cannot say enough about the people that I have come to call my Oklahoma friends. Ya'll are the most friendly and awesome people that I have ever been around. And this alone is the reason that I love having these premier events in your state. :biggrin:

Again, awesome job to the winners. Another AWESOME showing by the "G-HQ~Ladys". You go girls...Ya'll rule!!! I am looking forward to our dinner date in March before the "Oklahoma State Championship". :clap:

By the way, some of Oklahoma's finest came down to the "ex Deoxys" Pre-release in Richardson, today. In the finals of the "15-Over", two players from Oklahoma. Way to go, Jordan D and Chris O. Bringing that Oklahoma pride into Texas and being the top two in this age group. :thumb: :thumb:
