changing the topic slightly, does anyone know what cards will be in the set? i mean, are we skipping eidolon forest and going straight to the horon one?

imo, i think it would be asking a little too much for a new card type, although that would be the coolest thing ever...
 
I'm pretty sure it will be the same set as Japan's Researching Tower of Horon. But who knows. It might be 140 cards and have a bunch of Eldolon Forest in it. But of course not the broken gorebyss. That will never be made here. It's WAY too broken. :}
 
Well D/P don't have any new types (fact), so unless they make a TCG exclusive type it can't be.

Maybe Delta is what they call the car that you win instead of winning a beetle, lol.
 
Maybe Delta Energy is the English name for React energy? o_O;

That makes the most sense in the world and no sense at all at the same time.

That's a fairly logical explanation, although react energy is actually an accurate description while delta energy just sounds cool...
 
React Energy WILL be in this set, that's pretty much a given.

Also, your previous post made me think of something. Wobby's very likely to be in this set, as Wynaut is one of only 3 3rd gen Pokes I can think of that haven't appeared on 2 different cards in an EX set, the others being Castform and Azurill.

If Delta pecies ends up being the HORON set, the japanese would have already gotten react energy, meaning there would be no reason that the HORON cards shouldn't use react energy. I fail to see how it's a "given".

there won' tbe D/P pokemon since the game is not going to come out until at leat mid-2006 in japan, and the no new type in D/P is not a 100% fact, they just said it wasn't likely take that as you want.
 
There's a chance that the whole React Energy mechanic is exclusive to Eidolon Forest. I'm pretty certain we will not get Eidolo Forest until the Mew movie comes out. Anybody remember what they did with Deoxys? They skipped it here and release TRR instead, just to release it simultaneously with the movie. That's likely going to happen again.

Actually is a 100% fact. It's been said by the developers, "There will NOT be any new types in D/P, we are focusing on new type COMBINATIONS with this one."
