Destiny

May I ask how does a Destiny deck beats a straight 4-3-4 Tyranitar ex UF deck with only 4 Sableyes, in your own opinion?

As long as they don't play sidney stadium (which I did see today, and it worked suprizingly well), stantler does the job and then swarm ray ex d them to death.

it would be hard but......
yea its possible because u really only need
to kill one ttar and then stone+circuit the sableyes
to death constantly every turn then he wont lay them
after the first one most likely but u should be ok to bring
out latios ex d and stone to destroy the rest of the deck..........

-good question tho-

I've seen lists tha tdon't play Skarmory ex for reasons:

1. Ariados bait.
2. They'll most likely only retreat if the yhave less than 40 HP ;/
3. if it's active, your done

Thats why I never played Skarmory ex in my build since after playtesting, i found it a waste of space ^^.

i beat a 4-2-4 t-tar ex uf deck in top 8 at LA states. i used stantler and skarmory a LOT to move him to the bench, then hitting for 30 with ray. sidneys stadium gave me problems though, so i tried to push it away asap.

That was a well made deck list and a good player that he knocked out. So more credit to what Destiny can do. and also Rambo.

Yeh, the t-tar ex deck that I faced was very well made and was his main tournament deck. Btw he has no Sidney stadiums.

i leave for two days, and you guys are reduced to talking about TYRANATAR TO BEAT DESTINY?!
...
ok, enjoy playing it (doesnt work, but you may as well try)

Missed you, PSYCO!

On topic,
From testing, I can definitely say I like the baby/evolution combos from UF. Particularly Electabuzz and Hitmonchan. But I don't know whether I would want them to see the active position or just bench sit to give my Mews more options. With Hitmonchan I would probably lean more toward having him active to take advantage of fighting weakness, but Electabuzz doesn't really do enough damage (since I wouldn't waste four turns powering up Luster Blast) to be effective in that way. His body is too good to pass up though so I'd probably include an Elekid anyways. I think I would want my pokemon lineup to look like this:

3 Mew EX
2 Rayquaza EX d
1 Latios EX d
1 Skarmory EX
2 Lickitung d
2 Stantler
1 Mew d
1 Mew*d
1 Elekid d
1 Electabuzz
1 Tyrogue
1 Hitmonchan

I think Hitmonchan could be a decent counter to Delta too, 100 HP and no power puts him just out of Raichu + Cessation range, and Tyrogue's Desparate Punch or Chan's Heavy Punch will usually ko Raichu. And Speedy Uppercut will give you more options vs Safeguard.

This thread keeps getting funnier by the day.

Interesting on the Buzz/Chan. At least some of you are thinking outside the box, which is always good :)
