Dialga T/Su lock for a few turns and then Poltergeist with Gengar. Could it work? I'm thinking that this would be useful against SP decks.

Gastly locking would be alot more effective instead of trying to throw ing energy gains and cyrus's.

i think looker's investigation is enough to check your opponent's hand. I notice that most of the time, Sp player has a bunch of trainers in their hand.

It's just an idea. But thanks for the feedback. And the point of Deafen is to do damage while locking, even though Gastly does it too.

But deafen is harder to set up, and gastly takes no energy.
if you are going to do big damage then you don't need the extra ten per turn.

If you are going to combine the two, remember to include 4 gastly and no other techs than claydol, uxie, uxie lvx, and unown g. Gastly is your ideal starter and then you can switch to dialga g if you want a longer trainer lock.

I really wish gastly could also block your opponent from playing stadium also so that skuntank g can not poison you. skuntank g poison and couple of crobat g will envitably force to release the trainer lock.
