Time for Pain

So I decided to play dialgachomp a week before cities started in my area but I kept making changes to the list until I felt it was good enough so I could do well. I made one final change friday night at 10 to fit in a copycat after talking with jay hornung on thursday. Going into this event on Saturday I got no sleep cause I was at a friends house playing league of legends.

Round 1: ??? w/ T-tar
I dont remember much about this game but I was able to remove lost early and take out a houndoom g, t-tar and pupitar to win.

Round 2: Brian F w/ donk.dec
His deck consisted of sableye, honchkrow g, and crobat g. I started uxie to his sableye and he doesnt have the special dark to get the win so he impersonates collecter. I draw bench things and pass. He drops some bats and does overconfident for the KO. I follw up with a toxicroak g KO on sableye. He snipes my garchomp with honchkrow g and I proceed to use dragonite to KO honchkrow g. He sends up uxie and does restore for 20 and stays. I decide to go for a giant tail and hit it for a KO. He hit my dragonite for 40 with honchkrow and I KO it with mach blow. He then is able to overconfident for KO. I send up garchomp and dragon rush the sableye for the KO. He has nothing to do so he passes. I use drifblim fb to KO his benched unown (dark) for the win.

Round 3: William A w/ Machamp/Yanmega
I was a little nervous when he flipped over 2 machopsto start the game because I disliked the thought of playing against machamp. Turn 1 he benches stuff and passes as do I. He attaches a second energy to machop and hits me for 10. I use drifblim and a crobat to KO his benched machop. He procceds to use judge and hit me for 70 with yanmega prime. I drew nothing in my 4 cards from judge nor from my draw for the turn. My only play was to snipe the machop on the bench for the KO. He KOs me with yanmega prime. I proceed to pass for a few turns and eventually draw a uxie and use psychic restore for 20 and run. He kos me and I use a bat + skunktank + Second strike to KO his yanmega. He then plays down a machamp and does take out. I use uxie again and skunktank and bring him up to 60. he kos me. I use garchomps earthquake and let poison KO him. At this point he has a yanmega but doesnt have the hand size so he cant attack for free and passes. I KO something and eventually he needs an energy so he can use sandslash's attack but I spray his dig down and win from there.

Round 4: Chris C w/ Luxchomp
I got smashed in this game. I dont remember alot of this game but it wasnt even a game. He killed me.m Everytime I went looking for something it seemed to be prized. =(

Round 5: Jacob S w/ Luxchomp
Much better game this time around. We both start ok. Smeargle lets me start my cyrus chain and we get rolling with garchomps and dragonites. I keep drawing into DCE when I need to as does he so we are keeping up a slugfest. Eventually he misses a return ko which puts me at a huge advantage (also being in time) I decide to go deafen (he has no energy or energy gain anywhere) and I am able to keep my prize lead and win.

So I made top cut as 3rd seed and Im playing Stepen S with his Gyarados.

Game 1:
We both start ok, he gets a quick ko via regice and gyarados and I use twins and keep a deafen lock with poison and expert belt and he scoops after going down a prize.

Game 2:
I get a slower start and cant get expert belt due to it being prized. Eventually he uses combee to get back magikarp and I dragon rush it but he has SSU and hits heads and I scoop as the gyarados would win him the game.

Game 3:
I get a very fast deafen (T1 I believe) on his sableye while he impersontes collecter. I spray regice and then use looker on him but he draws the 3 karp back anyway -_- Time is called and on turn 3 with the game tied at 6-6 I used 2 bat drops to KO sableye to win.

Arron S w/ Jumpluff/vileplume
Game 1: I get an extremely slow start to his fast one. I eventually get out staraptor and get supporters for the first time in the game. He cant OHKO me and I keep healing off the damage he does and I make sure he cant get out a 3rd jumpluff (I dragon rushed skiploom) and eventually am able to comeback and win.

Game 2: I still draw no supporters and he has alot going for him. Enough to where I scoop after he took 2 prizes.

Game 3: I start with a cyrus and get rolling early. Time is called at prizes at 5-5 (or something close I really dont remember) but I am able to take it because he cant OHKO my dialga and I can dragon rush.
