WHAT: PRERELEASE TOURNAMENT IN SEVIERVILLE!!!!!!!!
WHEN: Saturday, May 19, 2007, 11 AM – 4:30 P.M.
WHERE: FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH of Sevierville
GREAT ROOM/GYM
214 Cedar Street, Sevierville, TN

WHAT YOU NEED: $25 ADMISSION PRICE, damage counters, dice/coin for flipping, lunch money
POP ID NUMBER (we can give you one) (Price increase due to increase in price of packs and extra card in packs)

WHAT YOU GET: 6 PACKS OF THE NEWEST SET (TO BUILD YOUR DECK)
GUARANTEED TOTAL OF 8 PACKS, plus and an Exclusive D/P item (NOT a notepad).
FORMAT: LIMITED (40 CARD DECKS THAT YOU BUILD THAT DAY)
REGISTRATION TIME: 11AM-12:00 P.M. TOURNEY BEGINS 12:30 P.M. (approx.) (HAVE 30 MINS. TO BUILD YOUR OWN DECK)

This is your chance to get the cards before anyone else will in town!

There will be assistance there if you haven’t built a 40 card deck before. Packs will be handed out and you will have 30 minutes to build a deck from the packs you open. DO NOT OPEN THE PACKS UNTIL TOLD TO DO SO!! YOU CANNOT TRADE CARDS WITH EACH OTHER to build your deck! Energy cards will be provided. Three age groups, basically 10 & under, 11-14 and 15 & up. There will be a SWISS AGE MODIFIED format used for the tourney. There will probably be FOUR TO FIVE rounds played at 30 minutes/rd. There will be raffles and giveaways between rounds!! Keith, even though I'm going to my local prereleases, I am just posting this to congradulate you on being the newest PTO in TN! I wish you good luck for your future tournaments!

Remember all.....bring or know your POP ID .....I dont have access to Jon's computer and he had all the IDs on his laptop. I can issue new numbers, but prefer to use the ones you actually have!

Wow, I know I haven't been around at League much recently (final exams are killer), but it's nice to see that things are still moving along fine. :p

That's going to be close to right after classes end for me, and work begins, but I should be able to get that day off. I'll do my best to be there. I cannot grant anything at this time though. I'll let everyone know as time moves closer to said date.

Lots of Flyers were picked up from the table @ SE Regionals. I hope we get a few new faces that travel over to experience a little Smoky Mtn Hospitality!

Now, I have to decide what giveaways to bring here and what to hold back for the Battle Road event. Hmmmmm....did I say Battle Road in Sevierville?? You betcha! Announcement to be up in the near future. It will be June 23rd....more details later!

Way to go Keith. This is your first premier tournament, and I think you did a very good job. **applause**

This was so tiring. PTOs/Judges have so much more respect from me now that I know how hard it can be to walk around for hours on end and almost never get any long break to sit down.

But you know what...I'd do it again. You get to meet a lot more people, and you get to watch all the games go down, from the first turn KO's to the intense games that last all the way to the time limit. Even though I'm not playing, I still get to participate in the game I love.

Thanks for having me judge for you Keith, it means a lot.

I had a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to the Battle Road in Sevierville, June 23rd. I told the lady from KY about it, and she might bring everyone down again.

Agreed! Way to go Keith. You handled everything quite well. Sorry I wasn't able to say and help pick up. Maybe during Battle Road.

That would be great if she could come with many others. I'd love to see this area become a hot-spot for the game actually. Lots of competition could take place. *boogie*
 
Thanks to all that came and supported East TN pokemon! I had a great time running the event. More things to do and items to bring when you run the whole sha-bang!

Props to 4 states playing in this PR! TN, KY, NC and SC represented themselves well! Hope to see many of you at BR Sevierville....you all are welcome to return!

A special thanks to Prime! Matt....you did GREAT! I knew you would enjoy it! Will look forward to working with you again. You better believe you get worn out working an event!
