just like I thought ... most got in due to city events. And because everyone on my other post said winning cities is nothing, then that means many invites are going to players who won tournaments that mean nothing.
 
Not true at all. Those who won all those City tournaments were determined to get the invite, worked extremely hard at it, and their hard work got rewarded. Don't go bashing the system and their achievements just because you have some sour grapes.

You can't make claims like that. Your son won a SINGLE city. That's not major, especially depending on the area. Winning/placing high at multiple cities takes WORK.

Getting 2nd in 8 City events is more impressive than winning a single City event. It shows longevity, consistency, and commitment to the game.

Honestly, at this point, all of your posts sound like a gigantic whine and cheese party, and I for one am sick of it.

You've made your point. You've beaten that horse to death, and then revived it and beat it to death several more times. It's enough.
