Ditto and Garbodor

Is Dittos ability a one time use, or is it static? Basically, if i transform my Ditto into a Tynamo, and my opponent attaches a tool to his Dust Toxin Garbodor, does anything change about my Tynamo? Would he be discarded, returned to hand, or anything? If tht Tynamo has already evolved, just that change anything? Thanks.

You don't get to use it again and you don't have to worry about losing the new Pokemon.
