Let's assume that it is important to your deck that you get Claydol in play as soon as possible. But you didn't get Baltoy in your opening hand and you didn't get call NRG and you didn't get Rosie. What you do have is a Bebe, no Claydol and no other trainers.
Let's further assume a generic trainer line like:
4 Roseanne
4 Bebe
3 Buck
4 Call NRG
Do you Bebe for Baltoy so that it is ready to evolve next turn? Hoping to top deck Claydol, Bebe or maybe Buck to look at two more cards? It's tempting to play the Bebe but should you? If you do play it do you go for Baltoy or Claydol? If you go for Claydol you know there is a chance that they will wager it away leaving you with nothing.
I seem to end up in this situation more often than I like. I would be interested in your thoughts.
