Strategy
Get Donphan or Machamp out ASAP and try to donk the opponent. Great against SP decks aswell. Unown Q's there to attach to Uxie and Smeargle for free retreat. Warp Energy and Warp Point for overly damaged Machamps/Donphans. Pokemon Circulator for when you have Machamp/Donphan on the field and have easy bench targets. I was also thinking about adding a Nidoqueen in but I have to test this deck format out first.

Suggestions?

Why not run a 3-2-3-1 Machamp line?
Also having a luxray ball in this type of deck wouldn't hurt

I agree with the Machamp increase suggested by Dootar and I would swap the Energy Restore for a Aarons Collection personally, if you want to get Energy back. There are better cards you could put in the deck but this is the best for this task. I would increase Pokemon Communication personally, and Cursed Stone is out of the Modified format.
Just my $2 worth, I hope I helpes, but congratulations on a pretty solid build,
Pyrocitor

Thanks for the input thus far. So far the changes I've got are adding Machamp SF, Aarons collection and luxury ball for Energy Restore, Cursed Stone and maybe a pokemon collection.

Any ideas on fighting Gengar with this deck? (everyone seems to run Gengar Plume these days).

Also, how do I find out what is and isn't allowed in the modifed format?

Everything here is legal except the Cursed Stone.

Take that out and throw in a Luxury Ball.

If you can get your hands on an Uxie X, take out a Smeargle for that, it will help you a lot.

Reversal's are better than Circulator's in my opinion, as it lets you choose.

Take out the Communication and the Energy Restore for +1 Broken Time Space and +1 Machamp SF.

Also, -1 Professor Oak's New Theory
+1 Palmer's Contribution, this accounts for the lost Energy Restore that you should take out.

Just my thoughts. :)

Just to help you YAGD the current modified format is Majestic Dawn onwards and will remain so for this season, until September next year when it rotates and then yearly after that.

A good way would be to try to do 90-100 damage to the gengar and try to finish it off with a uxie's psychic restore. otherwise just hope they fail fainting spell :thumb:
