-3 Rainbow
+3 Multi

Why? Because the only time Multi doesn't work is when it's on a Pokemon with DRE energy. But DRE already provides all the Energy you need for the attack anyway (two Rainbow one colourless, fits lanturn perfectly)!

So therefore, because multi does not do 10 damage, it is better.
If Multi is with a DRE then it isn't providing psychic for Gorebyss.

He doesnt mean on Gorebyss, but on another pokemon. Gorebyss does 10 more damage for each psychic in play and having a multi on a poke that has DRE is one less that possible.

because now that the public knows about these decks, any run-of-the-mill noob can use these decks and own everyone with them

Believe it or not but I thought of that before. I thought people would be able to work out for themselves not to do that one thing.

not really, i just wanted to make this deck actually work because what tA3 said is true, it CAN beat the main decks, but its almost impossible to set up.

I think you need to bring 4 Duns back to the main decklist, because it's too hard getting Pidgey and the other cards to counter the deck your facing at the same time without it.

Ive been keeping my eye on this thread...

There is a new list that I have been working on recently, it needs a bit more testing however before I post it..

Watch this thread later today for the update

Well this deck was brought up in William Hungs Lanturn thread, and I cant believe I leaked it but Oh Well. This deck is TIER 5 at best. For those of you that dont know what Tier 5 is its the best Tier, even Greater than Tier 1, but all decks remain Secret. Without more jibberish and nonsense here is the deck.

Pokemon(23)
4 Dunsparce(SS) obviously
2 Clamperl
2 Gorbyss
1 Huntail(Tech for all the dark pokemon out there)
2 Pidgey
1 Pidgeotto
2 Pidgeot
3 Diglett(RG)
3 Dugtrio(RG)
1 Caterpie
1 Butterfree
Energy(14)
5 Fighting Energy
4 Double Rainbow Energy
3 Rainbow Energy
1 Psychic
1 Water
Trainers(23)
4 Stevens Advice
4 Celios Network
4 Pokemon Reversal
3 Copycat
3 Strength Charm
3 Rare Candy
1 Pokemon Retriever
1 Mr. Brineys Compassion

This deck is obvious pwnage.

Strategy:

Vs. T-tar/Amphy- This deck is garbage regardless, you beat it no matter what.

Vs. Blaziken- Swarm them With Gorbyss obviously. Pidgeot/Charm is also useful against Raykoozas

Vs. Blastoise- This deck is overrated, Rumble there Magnetons and Then use Huntail against all there dark pokemon.

Vs. Dark Dragonite- Huntail is obviously SEXY in this matchup. He does like a Million damage, plus you can just Rumble there electrodes, and use Pidgeot on there Dragonites.

Vs. Charizard ex- No contest, Charizard destroys this deck so bad because it does 200 damage.

What do you guys think?

Have u ever played with anyone that is smart and can get around playing 1 billion dark pokemon when u have huntail out or do they just let u win!!!

I promised an updated Deoxys list, and here it is...

Pokemon(22)
3 Dunsparce(SS)
3 Diglett(FR/LG)
3 Dugtrio(FR/LG)
3 Clamperl
3 Gorbyss
2 Pidgey
1 Pidgeotto
2 Pidgeot
1 ????- Make this depend on your metagame
1 ????- Same as above
Energy(16)
4 Fighting
4 DRE
3 Psychic
2 Rainbow
1 Scramble Energy
1 Boost
Trainers(22)
4 Stevens Advice
4 Celios Network
4 Rare Candy
3 Copycat
2 Strength Charm
2 Crystal Shard
1 Pokemon Retirever
1 Desert Ruins
1 Energy Charge

Basically, this is the best list of the deck Ive come up with..

The 1-1 Depending on metagame is so Versatile, here are some examples below..

Zapdos- 1-1 Lanturn, OHKO them. 1-1 Team Aquas Lanturn is a kill with a Shard too, then you just Pokemon Retriever and quick search them right back out..

Metagross/Gardy- They play Psychic Energy soo, Gorbyss comes in handy. Depending on what they run, Deoxys ex then tech 1-1 Dark Hypno and beat it..

Blastoise- 1-1 Lanturn, or Huntail for there dark pokemon..

Dragonite- You shouldnt lose to this deck regardless. Add in a Huntail Obviously and then a 3rd shard, or even a 1-1 Togetic if you feel brave.

Charizard ex- Still a tough matchup, its 200 Damage is so hard to deal with... Im thinking a 1-1 on the new Gyarados could help against it tho, if it has 20 damage on it I can OHKO it!!!

Feraligatr- Riptide and Trash Exchange are broken... 1-1 Dark Muk should handle it tho..

Someone also sent me a PM regarding Jumpluff. If its that bad of a matchup drop Gorbyss/Clamperl for the new Camerupt, which OHKOs it.. Or just add in ATM rocks and own them...

I still <3 The versatility of this deck, and Dugtrio is so UNDERRATED.

Comments?

Mega Machamp: Tier 1 was the best Tier as you guys knew it..

For a long time, many of the players on Pokegym came up with a code word aka. Tier 5 for the decks that we found did the best in the format, Tier 5 was completely unknown of in most cases until this topic was brought up..

I say this deck is teir 3!!! its slow...has no REAL setup i only said what i said to get along and not accosted and i must say my draggy could TOTALLY ROCK this deck cause this thing is not in ANY CASE even tier 1 material...yes...counters all the best decks but...it still has no TRUE setup...so...i would love to play you on apprientice if you load the deck on it or even have it...cause i know you wouldn't stand a chance
