Here is a variant of the typical Machamp Deck my friend is using for States.

Pokemon(22)

4- Machop
1- Machoke
3- Machamp SF
1- Machamp DP
2- Baltoy
2- Claydol
2- Uxie
1- Uxie Lv X
2- Sneasel
2- Weavile SW
1- Palkia
1- Palkia Lv X

Trainers(23)

4- Bebe's Search
4- Roseanne's Research
4- Rare Candy
2- Night Maintance
2- Moonlight
2- Broken Time-Space
1- Luxury Ball
4- Poke Drawer
2- Cynthia's Feeling
1- Dusk Ball
Energy(12)

4- Special Dark energy
8- Fighting energy

It uses the basic Machamp with Claydol and Uxie for speed. Weavile and Palkia are there to help play extra energy and allow the deck the ability to snipe benched pokemon.

Added in the candy, but any advice to help speed it up? Or do the trainers I have already allow me to build up fast enough to deal with things?

Weavile is in the deck for 3 reasons, energy accel on machamp, and using its power it can change the type of machamp, so it can ignore resistance or gain a type advantage on things like Dusknoir/Gengar. He also can be used with the Palkia lv X and moonlight for a gust of wind effect every turn.
