Well, I see this deck to have some potential. So here it is:
Pokemon (19):
4x Dunsparce
4x Bagon
2x Shelgon
4x Salamence
1x Jirachi
2x Clefairy
2x Clefable ex
Trainers (25):
3x Celio's Network
2x Prof. Oak's Research
4x Steven's Advice
4x TV Reporter
2x Mr. Briney's Compassion
3x Ancient Tomb
2x Switch
2x ATM Rock
3x Rare Candy
Energies (16):
4x Double Rainbow Energy
6x Fire
6x Water
Strategy: Try to start with Bagon or Dunsparce. Always go first. Use Bagon to disrupt the opponent's Dunsparce or use Dunsparce to get set-up with reliability. Status is a major problem - because it shuts off Dragon Wind, so that's what Switch and on some occasions, Mr. Briney's. The goal is to get KO on key Basic Pokemon on the opponent's Bench. For instance, Skitty, Magnemite, Squirtle, etc. The two problems are deck speed and Mr. Briney's. It's actually hard to get a turn 3 Salamence charged-up, even with all this help. Clefable ex is situational, so sometimes I simply discard them with TV Reporter.
Match-ups:
In general, the deck fares better against Stage 1 decks and aggressive players who Rare Candy their Pokemon a lot.
Nidos: If I can get a Salamence up before they get out Nidoqueen, I can win. Because I have Resistance to Fighting, this is a good match-up.
New Blaze variants: If I go against Electrode ex, I take out Voltorb. If I go against Exeggutor, I take out Exeggcute. Otherwise, I'll take out Rayquaza ex. Then I focus on Rare Candied Blazikens and other Pokemon that are easy to KO. Reasonably good match-up because I have resistance to Fire, and handle Rayquaza ex very well.
Magma: Pretty bad. That's where I'll need help. The one card that's killing me is Mr. Briney's. TM's Zangoose is a major problem as well. If I lose my Ancient Tomb, I'll certainly lose the game. So I usually focus on Zangoose and Baltoy/Claydol. If they don't have those against me, I can sweep the rest of their Pokemon. It's still very hard - because of Mr. Briney's and the energy Manipulation.
Aqua: Just as bad as those Magma decks. I haven't played against one yet, but I know it's going to be ugly for me.
Wailord/Slowbro: Very winnable match-up, but need to play smart - take out Slowpoke and Slowbro with Salamence, use Mr. Briney's on Salamence. Then use Clefable ex to do loads of damage and Switch out. Since it's a long game - I can expect both sides to get to set-up the entire deck.
Blastoise ex: Depends on how fast the Blastoise deck sets up. If I get Salamence out before the opponent's Blastoise, then it's very winnable. Not gurantee, but great chance. Otherwise, Magneton will eat everything in my deck for breakfast.
Venusaur ex/Sceptiles + TA's Lanturn: Pretty even - depends on who gets set-up first. I can buy time with my Dunsparce and Jirachi as Punching Bags.
Gengare ex/Gorebyss: Major problem! My only hope is to focus on other Pokemon like Delcatty, Gorebyss, and Dunsparce. It's not an auto-loss, because there'll be plenty of people that will play Rare Candy for Gengar ex, and that's my hope with ATM Rock. Still very hard to beat.
Of course, there are a lot of possiblities right now. But I know all the deck match-ups I've listed will be decks to beat, IMO.
Any help is appreciated.
