Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Dream Trainer Cards by NKOTB...

This is my first post as a Pokegym member, I officially started playing the game when DP released
and I am one of some survivors of the PokeBeach Purge. This topic is about Trainer cards that I
would love to see released in future sets. I have not seen many "unique" stadiums, tools, trainers
etc. so I will attempt to make them the best I can, some will be generic, and some incredible.
I try to keep a mind set that these card are really coming out. So how will you use these cards?
I dont know how to do scanning so bare with me please. I will also try to be very specific.

Here are some stadiums I wanted to see come out...The stadium rule is still implied. How will you
use these?

Fog Filled Cavern
Stadium
Cost: Discard 2 cards from your hand.

Effect: Whenever a [P] or [D] pokemon attacks, the owner of the attacking pokemon flips a coin,
if heads and that attack does damage, it does 30 more damage, (after applying W/R) if tails
that attack does nothing and the owner of the attacking pokemon discards a card.

Hailstorm In The Night
Stadium

Effect: At the end of your opponent's turn place 1 damage counter on all non [W] pokemon in
play. All [G] pokemon in play have their max HP -20. All [W] pokemon attacks that do not
have attack effects gain, 'This attack is unaffected by Resistance, and any other effects on
the defending pokemon.'

Disturbing Sandstorm
Stadium

Effect: At the end of your opponent's turn place 1 damage counter on all non [F] and [M]
pokemon in play. Whenever your [F] pokemon are damaged, reduce that damage by
10 (Before applying W/R). Whenever damage counters are removed from a non [F]
and [M] pokemon in play, remove 2 less damgae counters.

Blinding Sunlight
Stadium
Cost: Discard 2 cards from your hand.

Effect: Attacks from [R] pokemon in play do 10 more damage for each [R] energy in the attacks
cost if the attack already does damage (After applying W/R). Attacks from [W] pokemon
in play do 10 less damage (After applying W/R) for each [W] energy in the attacks cost.
All [L] pokemon attacks cost 1 more [L] energy to use. All [G] pokemon
attacks cost 1 less [G] energy to use.

Rainstorm In The Plains.
Stadium
Cost: Discard 2 cards from your hand.

Effect: Attacks from [W] pokemon in play do 10 more damage for each [W] energy in the
attacks cost (After applying W/R). Attacks from [R] pokemon in play do 10 less damage
for each [R] energy in the attacks cost (After applying W/R). Attacks from [L]
pokemon in play are not affected by effects on the defending pokemon.

I will update very soon. Feel free to include any Trainer ideas you have.

Fog stadium is broken. Play with Wailord and you can't be beaten. Hailstorm might need to be toned down a bit, might be too good right now. Sandstorm could do without the damage thing, its already insta-buffer piece. Sunlight....how are you gonna work with stuff like Magmortar's Fire Blast? Only 10 extra cuz the base cost is [R]?. Rainstorm....could give [L] a 1 energy reduction, methinks.

Ideas are good, but they seem a bit overpowered.

These are good idea but where are psychic effects?
I see the element idea but would this effect castform keeping one only in play.
Fog should work with psychic

Scipio: Magmotars flame blast would do plus 10 because there is only 1[R] in the cost. I kinda do
think I over did it on the Fog Stadium, thats why I tried to do the heavy discard, I figured
it would balance out. On the Rainstorm, I was thinking of giving [L] -1 energy, but I thought
it would better to give their attacks a "Semi-Unstoppable" kind of effect.

Poketo: Castform is unaffected and since Fog had a high risk and reward type thing I thought it was
ok to use for everyone, but on second thought Fog would be better with [P] and [D] types.

Thanx for the feedback I will edit and try to tone myself down in the future.:grass::pokeball:

Hailstorm in the Night removes all effects of the attacks? What about attacks in which the effect contains the damage? What about cost attacks?

Charmander Rox: You still need to pay the energy cost of the attack and it still does its printed damage. Every thing in
the small print of the attack is basically replaced. EDIT: I understand now cards like Cloyster SW
Would be usless, I will have to edit again *smacks self in face*
