FYI I'm working with secret competitor. I can't be there in person but I can still have some fun throwing a monkey wrench into the metagame. Maybe I'll post who the competitor will be & their deck on Saturday just before the tourney,
but that will only happen if my golf game is really terrible.

Garret you had already told enough people that you might be going. You'll do great but sorry you weren't the secret. I still hope your going to be a spoiler though.

Zach - techs are great but inconsistent, you never get them when you need them.
I guess see yall at BR in the spring.

Do you not remember? i don't really give a second thought about techs or decks that are going to be played, i've learned in all the tourneys i play in, all my opponents play rogues until top cut and half the time those those rogues beat my rogues, so why worry about the metagame? how about i start worrying about having more fun then to think i'll win it all because other wise with that mentality i won't go home a happy camper:thumb:

Why would it get locked by the mods??? It is a pretty good deck though (If any of you want to help that would be nice)

BTW, everyone knows that Lickilicky is my SD no lols
 
Yeah, I didn't do so great Saturday either. I ended up 0/3. One loss for each deck I played! Gotta do much better than that!

I guess this Sunday will be the pre-regionals event for us here at Gamer's Lair. Everyone is welcome to try out their decks before they have to be in top form. I have a few packs I can give out as prizes, along with some other assorted prizes. I'll probably not sanction this one so i can play too, and see how my deck works out. Hope to see the usual suspects then.

Word on the Street is that you're not doing so hot with your league deck, a little bird told me that he's up on wins against you, but didn't say what either of you were playing :tongue:

GG tends to have good match ups ;) maybe you should stick to your cities deck or maybe back to your provincal deck if your deck's not working out at league!!!:thumb:

Maybe you should play your rainbows decks

OR!

you can make a fun deck and go home a happy camper!
 
Rainbows = a fun deck but, I get angry when it should work but, it won't
Provincials deck = the skyfoxgames website, see Charles or Jacob :( (leaked list)
Regionals deck: Needs practise, so hard to use against some certain decks, might use it though:)

Curtis: I still can't figure out your Secret Player:lol:

BTW, is the lil birdy Troy???
 
Georgetown will be represented. At least myself in the Masters (my wife if I can convince her to play)

+ 7 Juniors (including my two sons)

46 in the MA should be possible.
 
I'm sure you are, you play me -- you win. Isn't that how it works. Beware, I'll be bringing the worst deck my family can field. I'm thinking something that's absolutely crippled by Crystal Beach... Or maybe T2 Raticate.
 
Those of you who would like to do so are invited to come up to Barrie for a pre-Regionals event on Sunday the 6th. I won't be sanctioning it just in case I want to play in it, but it will be there at Gamer's Lair starting at 11:30.
 
I have been playtesting all day long (I am sick but, Pokemon is more fun:lol:). I am bringing in 4 people in Masters (Plus me) and 2 in Seniors. I think a top 16 cut is very much achievable:thumb:
 
Is that why you didn't show up yesterday to the Gamer's Lair pre-Regionals? We had a good time anyway. Decktesting most of the time, and pizza for lunch. Yum oo! If you get the reference, I feel just as sorry for you.
 
Yeah, my throat was like ughhh but, I got to playtest at home with Fudgesickles (Yum oo right back :lol:). Who ended up winning in each age category??? Even if I am sick, I won't miss Regionals because I missed the Top Cut by like 2-3 spots and I want to do really well. BTW, I have at least 1 Secret Deck playing in the main event!!!
 
Pre Regionals was all about the fun. lets see I think I squished in about 8 games. The really cool thing was we had a ton of fun just goofin around. Nothing was serious.

Crunch time is coming
