Went to New England Regs, played Plox, middle bro played MagKiss, littlest bro played Plox. Met up with everyone, borrowed cards, whatever.
Round 1 vs ?? w/ Golduck/Quagsire/Xatu
I literally draw/pass for TWELVE turns with a Baltoy and 2 Pachirisu. No joke, 12 turns it took him to win. wtf
Round 2 vs ?? w/ Wigglytuff/Darkrai
I got a T3 Gardy and just ran though him
Round 3 vs Con Le w/ GG
We both got **** poor starts, and I play Wager T3. He wins and proceeds to win the game.
I'm pretty bummed now that I'm 1-2, but I continue to fight it out.
Round 4 vs new dad w/ Mismagius/Swampert
He flipped over Misdreavus and I nuts my pants. However, he's slow, I get a relatively decent start, and am just able to run through a weak list.
Round 5 vs ME State Champ w/ Empoleon
He only gets a lone Prinplup, and 2 Psychic Locks kill it T3-4.
Round 6 vs Mariah Jessing w/ Plox
She gets a better start than I, and I'm worried. We Wager back and forth a few times, and I can't get anything off of them. However, she Wagers me once and I win, and get Candy/Gardy/Kirlia to lay down. One thing leads to another and I'm able to break her Plox lock and Dusknoir away her Gallade with 3 Energy and kill an active Gardy, crippling her too much. She couldn't recover after that. Great game though.

Round 7 vs John Frezza w/ Plox

I get a relatively quick Plox lock, and I remember one turn going Celio/Telepass Celio/Duskull/Candy/Dusknoir and sent back a Gallade w/ energy and killed a Ralts that same turn. He couldn't come back after that, though he made it close. Good game.

T16 vs Alex Frezza w/ Plox
Game 1 He gets a horrid start and I just Plox the whole game.
Game 2 He gets a great start, I get a so-so one, and he just Ploxes first.
Game 3 I think we get pretty even sets, but I'm up a prize when time is called.
Sorry I don't remember much, all my mirror matches all blend together.
T8 vs Gary Lawson w/ Donphan/Mismagius/Mr Mime
Game 1 I get a really fast start and take the last 3 prizes I think with Dusknoir. This game took like 25 mins or so maybe.
Game 2 I have a Gallade, Dusknoir, and a Night Maintenance prized. the Dusknoir was going to hurt me, but I figured as long as I got it within my first 3 prizes or so I would be fine. However, the game dragged on and on and I took a few prizes, to no avail. As I took my 3rd prize, I realized that if I drew any of those 3 that were left (Dusk, Gallade, Night) I would have a really good shot at winning. Of course, I pull the Energy. I can't sack anything more, and he takes his last prize. Literally 30 seconds later, time is called. Ughhhh I felt dumb b/c I coulda stalled for another minute probably, but I also felt like I did the right thing and didn't even think about it, because it's not the way this game is really supposed to be played.
So, Game 3 Sudden Death:
I have no chance. He gets a quick Mismag AND Donphan, and I can't do anything. Oh well..
I lose in Top 8 to a completely anti-Gardy deck and still coulda/shoulda/woulda beat it. Con wins the whole thing with Gardy, good thing because I felt like he was the strongest player there besides me and Cap.
My middle bro went 3-2 in 11-14 with MagKiss and misses cut.
My littlest bro wins in 10- with Plox
Overall, great tournament, can't wait till Nats.
