Well duh. why do you think that we posted this thread? We are working on this everyday, a litle bit at a time. If you are going to post in this thread, please tell us what is good and what is not good. Tell us what to change and not just "cool strat."

When I said that ray worked with VireX's body, I was referring to the fact that his body while he was active would be spreading damage, and rayquaza could conveniently snipe at any moment.

He's also a good stockpile for collecting energy.

I will try Rayquaza once I start playtesting this deck. I will try different things as soon as DP2 comes out.

RV, Electivre needs to be Active in order to use that Poke-Body. But, in order to combat Mario, it would probably be good TecH. I would love to see it with Ampy as well.

Jayson, with the LvX in the deck, there really is no need for PlusPowers. Your opponent provides the Pluspowers themselves by simply attaching Energy! Also, the VireX is really the better Pokemon to have up pretty much at all times (unless fighting Mario, then you just flip the table...)

Phenom: 2-2 Vire is really better, because the VireX is the better Pokemon to have Active. Any time you can do damage without attacking is a good day. 4 CAndy is for consistency at getting early (T1 going second) Raichus. 1-1 Magneton might work as well, but we're using him as Energy storage. Maybe use Ray as energy storage instead?

Ardoptres: DRE isn't searchable. Raichu is your energy acceleration, and nothing else.

I understand what you mean by saying that 2-2 electrive is better but i have played this deck and i get a lot of electrives prized and end up with no electrives until a flygon shows up. Also electrive lv.X has x2 fightning weakness and that reallyy destroys him against a fightning deck that are pretty common. For rare candy i think that 3 would be enough. If you want someone as energy storage ray would be ok, but someone with high HP would be ok. Mabey consider the next blissy(don't know in which expansion) but he is decent.

OK, I think I understand the differences between your train of thought and mine. Mine is more theoretical, yours is more practical. Though Electivire is still an able attacker in this deck, I feel that having Electivire lvX active is far more helpful than it is hurtful against about 90% of decks that it will face. Also, by reducing the Magneton count to 1-1 and including Ray, you have protected yourself against Fighting Pokemon. I'd still rather have 4 Candy, as my topdecking luck is absolutely horrid. Ray will probably only store 2-4 energy, enough to use his attacks. Magneton HAS to store at least 2 energy in order to use his attack. I'd probably stick the rest onto Raichus, so that he can use his attack decently enough. With 90 HP and a decent enough weakness, it can store energy fairly well, and Electivire will help regulate the amount of damage Raichu's attacks will do.

Just for the record, WE AREN'T WORRIED ABOUT FIGHTING DECKS.

We can OHKO anything as long as they have 1-2 energies on them.

WHAT? Dude, you have no clue what this deck does.

Electivire Lv. X attacks and discards your opponent's stadiums and tools anyways. Second, Lake Barrier DOES annoy your opponent. It OHKOs any of the soon to be popular Blastoise DP3 decks.

Lake Barrier makes all Weakness x2, right? I always forget that particular translation...

Well, it is being talked about like the old Blastoise from FRLG. And Swampert ex is pretty good. It is also better now that it isn't an ex since we can use Blastoise. And plus, you can attach as many energy from your hand as you want. Just use like Mr. Stones or something. If only we could use Holon Lass! And he can turn 2 90 if you use rare candy.

The Candies make it so that you can have your Turn 1 Raichu giving you Energy across the board. Raichu dies, Vire comes up, smashing begins.
