Well here it is, my next deck. I really want to know what you guys think because I still have some doubt of this deck with the Hitmonchans and Hariyamas hopping around. The one problem that this deck has is certainly the Fighting weakness. So basically the strategy is to get out the Electabuzz's out to try to take out the opponents pokemon ASAP. ER2 would help out to try to remove the energies to at least give Electabuzz EX a better chance to attack. Strength Charm would help to charge up any pokemon.

Anywayz, fixes and opinions are appreciated. :thumb:

Pokemon: (13)

4 Electabuzz (Best Promo)
3 Electabuzz EX (Ruby & Sapphire)
3 Skitty (Ruby & Sapphire)
3 Delcatty (Ruby & Sapphire)

Trainers: (30)

4 Professor Elm
4 Copycat
4 Potion
4 Energy Removal 2
3 Warp Point
3 Strength Charm
3 Pokemon Fan Club
1 Towns Volunteers

Energy: (17)

14 Electric
2 Cyclone Energy
1 Warp Energy

I'm assuming current Modified with Nintendo cards allowed. That being the case, drop two Electric Energy for Double Gusts, and two more for Warp Energies. That way, you can combo Double Gust and Warp Energy to yield the original Gust of Wind effect. Looks like a good deck.

Sorry I forgot to add that this deck I'm trying out is E-on format. But either way it should work. But like I was saying what I'm worried about is those dreaded Hariyamas, Hitmonchans, and other fighting pokemon in the E-on format.

Right... and there's not much defence against them in this format. I suggest you ditch at least the Electabuzz ex... Thats just begging for 2 free prizes... what you should concentrate on is getting the energy on the delcatty

I'd agree that the Electabuzz ex have to go, but what should the substitue be? I really can't think of an Electric Pokemon that would work well, so how about some Nosepass? Just for searching. There's a LOT of evolutions in this format, and I would guess that it would work well. I would say Linoone, if it wasn't for the fact that he has a lot of Fighting weaknesses as it is...

Well... you need to find SOMTHING that has either a weakness advantage or a resistance advantage over fighting.

I was thinking I could throw in Mewtwo EX with Electabuzz but not to have too many of them in the deck. Or some type of like Electabuzz EX, Furret, and Scizor  , thats a crazy idea and dumbfounded too.

Electric types are weak to Fighting. The best Fighting types are weak to Psychic. Therefore, a Psychic makes sense. A Xatu line could be especially good, in that it also provides Resistance to Fighting. Double whammy.

since when is half your deck supposed to be trainers!
you don't need 4 copycats you need one. the odds of you getting a basic pokemon is 1 in 6. And a pathetic amount of energy.
Try to put in more energy and pokemon!!!!!!!!!!

Since people discovered that decks that are around a quarter Pokemon, a quarter Energy and half Trainers are more effective than other constructions. Copycat is one of the few good Draw cards available in the format this deck is built for. And the chances of getting a Basic in your first hand with 10 Basics in the deck is not 1 in 6 -- technically, the chances against it are (50*49*48*47*46*45*44)/(60*59*58*57*56*55*54), which equals about 26%, which yields about a 74% chance of drawing a Basic. Not bad odds. Now, a suggestion. Try dropping one Electric Energy for another Warp Energy.
